Now that the Daihatsu passed inspection, we can take some of the interior back apart to install the sound system it really deserves. Stock system was an AM radio and a single 3 inch speaker; unacceptable. We also whipped up some door panels to ditch the 26 year old vinyl.

Thanks man, got door speakers and a sub installed in my Hijet because of this video. Went with the same door speakers too cause I know they work in the door.

Do you recall which wires were power and which were for the turn signal, by chance?

I don't follow, where are these wires you're referring to? This video was adding speakers to the doors, there were 0 wires in there originally.

Yeah, I realize this isn’t necessarily related to the theme of your video. But, I was just wondering, with all the work you did, if you knew which wires under the dash were for the turn signals. Finding a wiring schematic for the Hijet has been impossible for me so far.

Trying to figure out where to run the speaker cables through to the car. I see the grommets, but can’t find them inside the hijet. Any help with finding them once passed through?

Which ones are we talking about exactly? In the front from underneath? or in the door jamb?
