My fiance and I hiked the Dragon's Tooth trail in the snow. It's on the Appalachian Trail in Virginia. Also we share my PET Scan and Breast Ultrasound results, plus details about some of the current side effects I am facing.

I'm so glad youre doing well! Minus the eye issue. :( I hope your eyes get better soon. I used to get swollen eyelids and it was some sort of allergic reaction. I'm so glad I don't get those anymore. 😬 And I wouldn't mind watching your fiance and family go skiing. I used to go snowboarding back in the day but now I hardly get out of the house. So it'll be nice to see the slopes again. 😊

I am still on my neoadjuvant chemotherapy. And fighting 💪🙏 I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma malignancy 3 last October 2020. Prayer to all cancer patient to be free from it🙏

Pray every day in Jesus' name, read the bible out loud every day for a few minutes or more and always be a faithful Tither. I've experienced such awesome healing miracles when I do this also.

New sub here! Haven't finished the video yet but about the eye thing- I have bletharitis which is where the oil glands in my eyelids don't produce enough oil or they dry up. It randomly started for me when I was about 13 so I've been using Blethasol (also an eyelid cleaning solution) every morning and night ever since and it keeps it under control. I also used heating pads on my eyes back when it was really bad and that used to help. :)

I love your engagement series! Can’t wait for your marriage series and please tell us how it was! I would love to know! Yes make a ski vlog! I like that he enjoys your vlogger life! I think an ophthalmologist with oncology knowledge would be a better fit for a diagnosis or treatment, I know from other woman after treatment they get dryness in all mucus areas the eyes, nose, and down below even if they don’t seem related hopefully is not your case but is something mention by other females after chemo treatment, the good cells were affected during chemo war and now the need to heal... if I were you I would look in Canada or UK information not because there are better in any way but they might have another approach. Does the lymphatic massage help with the drainage of your harm? Is that an option?

Hey girl, I'm an eye doctor and can definitely help you out with the chemo dry eye and flares if you need any additional recommendations or a second opinion depending on what your local ophthalmologist says. 💕

Should have waited until the end to comment lol. Hypochlorous acid lid scrubs are great. There are definitely more things that can be done. Some optometrists and ophthalmologists specialize in eye inflammation or dry eye or both. There are a lot more things in the arsenal and I agree I probably would have started you doing something other than just monitoring, but it's good to hear she didn't see any actual damage.

@@SamanthaL There are treatments to help if the glands have atrophied, anti-inflammatory eye drops for dry eye/poor tear production (my favorite is Xiidra, love it), mast cell stabilizer drops might help the random episodes of swelling. Does she specialize in eye lids like oculoplastics specialist or inflammation like a uveitis specialist? Do you wear contacts? It's hard to know what another doctor is thinking or exactly what's going on without examining you of course, so I can't speak for her or know what she did or didn't see. I just know if a patient was referred to me and had already been "monitored" and symptoms weren't improving or were worsening, I would probably at least look into trying something topically anti-inflammatory like an allergy eye drop or cream. 🤷‍♀️ I can't say she's doing anything wrong, and maybe she's doing research on the medication, consulting with a colleague, or wants to see a pattern like is it always the same eye/how long does it remain swollen? But there are options depending on what is causing it and questions you can ask next time, especially if it's bothering you. So it's just a matter of whether it's bothering you enough to ask her if there is something else you can try now or seek another opinion.

@@beyedoc I do wear contacts, and my left eye is almost always worse than my right. It was unusual for my right eye to be acting up in this video. I'm hoping this new stuff works a little better. Thanks for the info :)
