Largemouth Bass Fishing at Frog lake in San Jose/Morgan Hill. We hiked the Frog lake loop and shared our experiences. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments section.
Great video. Have been out to Coe a few times (Coit Lake and Kelly Lake), but never visited Frog lake. This looks way more accessible. Will check it out soon.
ENJOYED WATCHING YOUR VIDEO! I hiked the Frog Lake trail on Sept 5, 2023. The lake was largely covered in algae. Access to the shore was limited due to tall cat tails and whatnot. Creeks were all dried up. Pleasant temps in the low 70s. After seeing your video wish I'd brought fishing gear. Kudos!
Loving this Video! All this time living in SJ and I had no idea this area existed in Morgan Hill. I hit up the local creeks and reservoirs and am looking forward to trying this location out. Not much of a walker but I'll hike anywhere for some good fishing. Haha Have been enjoying your channel and Loch Lomond catches especially. ❤ definitely appreciate the POV for this hike and fishing so I have a better understanding of how it might look when trying it out Peace and Tight Lines 🤜🤛✌️
Looks great. I went yesterday (Jan)and not even a bite. Not sure if it’s too cold or too muddy but no hits. What time of year you recommend? Also do you use a bobber to float your artificial worm? Or does it float on its own?
There are rumors of trout in some of these hills and I'm curious is it feasible or is this the stuff of legend dating back to Tom steinstra writings of the mid 90s
