I see you using your hands on your thigh's pushing off to aid your legs but why not use walking (aid) sticks instead? When I see people without them I always think but why to my self. You avoid leg cramps and have better balance - its a win-win with no negatives apart from the small extra weight (its worth its weight)
i totally agree! one question to all: what could that strange giant figure be, on the central mountain top at min01:56?? it doesn´t really look like a cloud ... .
the biggest reason why never stop loving his video is simply because he is not the main character here. Those giants, the mother nature are the main characters, he is just a man passing by. I LOVE IT
Wow, that is a fantastic story. I did this trek in 1987 and I’m blown away how developed that region is now. They didn’t have electricity back then and glass windows were rare! Luka Air strip was unsealed and basically just a dirt strip. For the planes that didn’t make it they dragged them to the side of the strip. Very confronting when waiting your turn to fly out. Good to see the locals are benefiting from the tourism dollars. Those mountains, how special was it to walk amongst them, very humbling. Thanks again for creating the content.
21:59 the conversation was like red hoodie guy called his freind *pussy* (muji) the other guy was like it's recording, why you cursing then the next guy was like, he(Kraig) wouldn't understand then he replied nepalese people are also gonna watch it HAHA fun stuff thanks for the video Kraing Hope you enjoyed the stay & hope you return soon, Nepal has lots to offer that you could showcase to the world. Much love & admiration. and come on man atleast feed one of the dogs some biscuits !
This video says less is more. No narration yet it speaks so much. It's relaxing, peaceful, and mesmerizing. Everything is raw, and beautiful. Thank you for this, sir. ❤️
I imagine it isn't easy to get to Nepal to trek at the moment because of Covid. Looked like a great time to go though as no crowds. Very enjoyable video. Nepal is in a class of its own.
@@ironfistarrival I think you'll find that caressing girls on a hike is not viewed as appropriate. If you're referring though ( and for some odd reason) to his private life, he has a 'girl' back home- we've seen her in a previous video. And I'm sure Kraig has permission to caress her.
I've been following this trip on your Instagram for a while. The contrast between you fooling around with other well-known travelers on your Instagram stories and this cinematic masterpiece of a video is almost hilarious!
I was there in 2018 Though I didn't reach Base Camp because of the leg injury, I still fell in love with Nepal Hope to return there and finish that track one day)
Thank you Kraig for a trip down memory lane. And they are very very fond memories indeed. I reached the EBC back in 2012, and have been itching to head back there. I have yet to relive the peace and tranquility I'd experienced whilst trekking the Nepalese mountainside; there is indeed a strong spirituality that one cannot help but feel enveloped by. I miss Nepal so much. On another note kudos to you for having enough gas to keep going back and forth to place your camera, get the shot, then go back to retrieve the camera. Especially at altitude above 4000m, where every step takes so much efforts. 😫
Maybe in the future we will see you climbing Everest itself.... a Kraig Adams climb of Everest would be EPIC. Can ya'll imagine him going back for his camera while on the climb?
I did the Gokyo Lakes trek in November 2019. The trail follows EBC for part of the way, but branches off to the left beyond Namche. We climbed Gokyo Ri, which is about the same elevation as EBC. I was the only one in the group who didn't take Diamox, and I did okay without it. Your video makes me want to go back to the Himalaya. Great job!
What I enjoy most about your videos is how immersive they are. Your storytelling is very personal, I feel as if I'm there hiking with you. Thank you for providing this exhilarating experience. Also, you got super lucky with the weather and the clear shots of the mountains! Absolutely stunningly breathtakingly spectacular. I'm blown away by the beauty and how respectfully you've captured it.
Ahhh that overwhelming Himalayan beauty, brings back sweet memories of my Everest trek in 2016 😍 And view of Dal Bhat wasn't any less attractive, reminded of that legendary saying Dal Bhat Power 24 Hour, No Toilet, No Shower 😂😂 I just hope they never build the road to Lukla and especially to Namche Bazaar, that would ruin everything, it's perfect the way it is
@@basantapandeyy of course, love Nepal and Himalaya! 😍 2 years later I also did the Annapurna trek, but I hope to come back again for the third time some day
This was something else. Would love to hear the BTS stories from this. Seems like quite an unusual set up with a lot of logistics. Beautiful work Kraig!
Kraig, is that long sleeve shirt you wear under your puff enough to absorb sweat when you hike. Been looking to get a puff but even in the winter, I sweat during strenuous hikes and don't want the moisture to kill the down.
Hey Kraig, this was absolutely stunning!! I have been waiting for this one ever since I first started following you and you said you were going to do it. Great work and I will definitely be watching this a few 100 times!!
I love these videos, they show the real beauty of this world and how small and insignificant my problems are in comparison to the endless awesomeness of our planet. It's so easy to get caught up in all your worries but when you see this and the magnitude of everything, gaining some perspective, it really puts me at ease. Thanks Kraig :)
Damn ! so mesmerizing beautiful😳🏔 Dogs are so calm and they all like you instantly 🐕❤️ Thank you for the amazing minimalistic video. 10/10 👌🙏- from Tokyo 🎌 I will visit one day
This is so amazing 🤩 all the memories of our trip to EBC is refreshed looking at this video…… This video is PURE BLISS.. miss you soo much gimble dance my Group A patner😉
I believe this is the best ever capture of your expeditions.. Something beyond surreal... A true portrayal of the Himalayan Majesty.. Lovely drone shots.. 👍
It's not just vlog, It's piece of art. The efforts this guy puts to take every shot like placing the tripod then climbing up then again climbing down to take the camera back just for a single shot is incredible. The best part about this video is that it has no music in it but pure surrounding sound. The sound transition in every shot is just next level. The major thing that makes him different from other vloggers is that he makes vlogs about the place not him acting like a tourist, he was in the moment and didn't even care about taking a picture with the base camp stone that he tracked miles for he was insted enjoying the view alone. Love and Respect from India🇮🇳
Those shots are priceless. Thanks for capturing it mate and making an amazing video, I hope you had a great time and took lots of memories for lifetime .
Again you nailed it bro. I'm happy to see you in Everest. It means a lot to your followers and you still bring that Kraig Adams vibe in Everest. Glad to see you with Wil Dasovich and i hope you also want to experience hiking the Philippines.
Went to EBC in 2018, this brought back so much memories. Thank you. I’m headed there in a week to climb Ama Dablam as I’ve fallen in love with the mountain ever since I saw it from Namche Bazaar.
Loved the drone shots!! That was a nice deal to get invited to do this trip. In all honesty, However, I found the video missed the serenity of your other videos when you travelled by yourself. It seems there was a lot of chatting. You have to return and do the 3 Passes route on your own, then you'll probably experience it fully! My son & I did the 3P and a couple of additional day hikes on our own. Loved it and loved the freedom to decide whatever. Still, love what you're doing and again: Thanks for the upload and keep 'em coming!
Man, this was great as usual. For some reason I think the shot at 32:39 was my favorite in the whole video. Something about the colors and the depth and the massive mountain in the background.
The himalayans have such power that can be unforgettable amazing. The food, the people, the way you keep walking even sometime it’s hard to breath. I miss Nepal so much. Thanking for making this Kraig!
THANK YOU for making Nepal the hero, not yourself. Thank you for the amazing drone footage. Thank you for showing us the lovely dogs. One of the best EBC vids I've seen.
For a Nepali who hasn't had a chance to take (basically) any trip in these kinda places in Nepal because of family responsibilities and duty calls abroad, this is like an early Christmas gift! Almost teared up watching those drone footage in the beginning. I absolutely loved your video of Mardi Himal trek and thoroughly enjoyed this one as well! Your silent videos are unparalleled. Cannot wait for another video where you discuss the cost, preparation guidance, and cool background stories of this trek.
I would have loved that most of the shortest drone sequences in the introduction last a little longer between cuts, maybe 2 or 3 seconds more - I mean, there is so much to see, so many details on those delicate villages... it's gorgeous, and the music sets up such a contemplative mood you just want to get your eyes filled up with wonder a little more.
I was eagerly waiting for your video. Your drone shots are epic, best shots of all Everest videos I have ever watched. I did EBC trek just a week before you. We were unfortunate as we couldn't had the view that you had because of a bad weather. I also made EBC silent travel video, inspired from you, big fan. Always loved your content. ❤️❤️
Kraig, this is truly one of, if not your greatest video ever. I'm truly amazed. Thank you for giving us the closest experience to this that we can have without actually being there. This is incredible.
Wow, this is glorious, Kraig. This seems like a much more enjoyable, civilized way to see Nepal -- trekking through the mountains instead of climbing Everest, which I've never had any interest in. Everest is an overpriced suffer-fest with a poor risk/reward ratio, whereas trekking through the Himalayas seems like a slice of heaven.
such a good way to put it. before looking into things, I had no idea how horrible they exploit the sherpas, and that the whole idea of climbing mt everest is practically a business.
Literally, waiting for this one❤️. If possible, please do visit Manasalu Circuit Trek. The most underrated route of Nepal with majestic view probably better than Everest and Annapurna.
