Some pretty country out there, very different from what we are accustomed to here in the Northwest. Great hike with some awesome views!

hiked many trails in the Sandias. Great area to explore. There is a foot race up the La Luz Trail each year.

I parked between the tram parking lot and the standard trailhead. Can't remember the name

It took a long time, maybe 6 hrs total. We are slow hikers
