He was a hero until i started hearing his politics. He basically called me and hundreds of millions of americans an "idiot" for owning a gun. He's funny to listen to but in terms of his character , im not interested .
I got to meet Cheech & Chong for 4/20 in Seattle 2019, it was one of the best moments in life because Tommy in his current state is a spitting image of my Dad before he passed away, I'm talking twins... I litterally froze up when I seen him because it actually felt like I got to see my dad one last time... Tommy was such a great and genuine person, he had such A positive n welcoming Aura, he was exactly how you would expect him to be... I will always cherish the memories of watching their movies with my grandpa... I had some autographed souvenirs but they were stolen from me by police when traveling thru Texas along with alot of other stuff, which crushed me at the time because I had just found out my grandpa died b4 I could give him the autograph, But it was better than going to prison
I usually put these on while I’m doing stuff so I’m not watching just listening, and EVERY time the end hits and Lee starts his giggling I momentarily think “ how fucking high is Lee that he’s laughing like that at something not meant to be funny?” It gets me EVERYTIME because it’s such a clean transition lol
The way Joey says “I had a goodtime” sounds like he’s talking about childhood days going to disneyland or some shit LMAO he says it so honestly too wtf hahaha joey is a wildman
im in prison right now actually it rules, the media constantly bad mouths it because if people actually figured out how cool prison was everyone would want to go there
@@InfiniteRhombus yeah me too I’m in prison too. It’s fun. Want to come visit me at my prison? We have a Chili’s and a Popeyes here. Or is yours better and I should visit your house? Oops I mean cell
My dad did a couple years in FCI Englewood. He had the craziest stories. It changed our lives. People shit when you say that you visited your old man in prison as a kid. But, I got to talk to some of the most interesting people in the world. Ironically, their advice keeps me from scamming.
Society before Chong, "Man I am so high on this marijuana cigarette." Society after Chong, "Man I am so chonged off this Thai stick. Thai stick? Yeah you know that stuff that's tied to a stick man."
The Thai sticks I experienced were indeed buds tied to a stick, but mine were "dipped" in sticky black opium. Not heroin, cuz I'm quite familiar with. That. But those Thai sticks man .... Smoked them out of a 2 foot steam roller. Even heroin didn't make me drool like that. *Proud to say clean and serene since 9-10-19. Except cannabis. 🙃
@@dancarter255 having extensive experience in heroin, opium, morphine, methadone, marijuana, wax, hash oil, honey oil, (as well as pretty much every other substance barring dmt, crack, and PCP-though I did try crack one time ) etc, I can partially concur, but I assure you, hash oil has no dependency and no withdrawl symptoms, and I certainly had to kick , along with a few close punk rock buddies. But it would have been nicer
Tommy Chong went to a minimum security prison, its literally like being in a holiday resort. They had musicals, theatre plays, tennis court.. you name it. Nothing compared to what Prison Joey Diaz was in.
My aunt popped in a VHS tape when I was a little kid and I was hooked. Cheech and Chong are such a great pair. Got there reunion spechal, Tommy threw a joint at cheech and said smoke a real one. It would be a dream to smoke with him. I wouldn't even Bragg just knowing you did smoke with Tommy. Iconic figure for marijuana rites.
oh man that opening, Tommy is asking "what if I was right about weed?" to all his critics.. haha thats epic, now its a mainstream medicine (almost) and being legalized recreationaly in several places.
I love hearing the stories from Diaz and Tommy. But when you hear them both in this podcast is like picking children. I want to sit back and hear each of their stories uninterrupted.
When I was locked up, I used a pen and put a Nike swoosh on the side of my crocks and wrote "Air Shit Hole" on them in big letters. When the CO bitched, I just smiled and told him that's how I got em. LOL
I could hang with these guys and listen to their stories all day! Lol And yes agents go undercover all the time are part of it can be doing drugs with folks and yes they do get addicted and have to get treatment, I had to do a mental health assessment on an agent once in Nashville and he was one of the craziest fuckers I ever saw, he was high as shit and coming off an assignment and didn't know who he was. It's not an easy life being a criminal, and it ain't an easy life trying to catch them either...they both get fucked up in the end usually, and for many reasons. I taught in a couple of college courses in state prison when I was 23 one of them was Ethics and boy did I hear a bunch of stories in there too.
Pot's Not a Drug. I grew up listening to Your Album's Tommy and I turned soooooo many People on to Cheech & Chong, I wore out 2 of your Album's from listening to them so much. I was born in 1959 and I am glad I am a Boomer. Love ya Man 🎸⭐👏✌🙄☮😖😣😞🥺😳
@@mauricelangley5033 either st pete or tampa fl i cant remember it was over 10 years ago, my boys dad is a doctor and he would work the live nation events so we always got free tickets to shows
Me and my cousin went to jail for possession and were sitting in a cell and he breaks out a joint and I tell him, "we're going to get in trouble." And he replied, "WE'RE ALREADY IN TROUBLE!" 😂
He is an example of what this plant does when you get older you either like it or not, it feels alright to me if you consider my grandfather was a racist gambler with a gun.
Your comment makes 0 sense. He is an example of a marijuana plant that gets older whether you like it or not? Or is he an example of a racist gambler with a gun?
Good luck and hope your dreams come true. Don't ever listen to people downing you they just jealous. As a comedian you will fail a lot. Never stop chasing your dreams hope to see ya on stage one day
I totally agree with you Joey! I 100% believe that being in the joint is a disqualification to vote. See? They know that you have seen how their shit works.
