Brennan, after hours and hours of allowing Em to run wild, gets his revenge. Absolutely whomped. You love to see it.

You left out the part where Fig threw her phone into the river leaving the commissioner to think that Decker had killed herself or something

Brennan has occasionally described an aikido-style of DMing of redirecting/deflecting the chaotic energy of the players rather than just stopping it. Usually, it's done to point towards a more productive result but, it can also be used to unleash a devastating counterattack of chaos at the player. This is such a masterful demonstration of that technique. Hands down, one of the best DMs.

I love the characters’ creativity when they need to lie on the spot. After all, what could be better then: -Baron from the Baronies -Hilda Hilda who lives on 22 Hilda Street and 22 Hilda Boulevard. Totally inconspicuous.

Lou saying to Emily "I GET IT. i get the vision" is the most perfect introduction to them two years later playing the absolutely chaotic cousins in the Court Of Fey And Flowers

I am convinced that after this session Brennan went home and created the character of Ayda to deal with Fig romantically once and for all. You can see something inside him break during Hilda Hilda

When the chaotic force Emily meets the Unmovable force BrenDad a female detectives whole life goes up in flames over wanting kisses. Ya hate to see it :P

My favorite element is the other players trying to help by asking if they're nearby, and Brennan completely shutting that down like, "No, Emily is going to deal with this by herself. This is what she gets." Incredible. Easy 2nd favorite: "Well, this all checks out."

There better be fanart of Hilda Hilda living her life, just casually walking her dog from 22 Hilda Street to 22 Hilda Boulevard.

My girlfriend plays very similarly to Emily, and I honestly just wish I could roll with her shenanigans as well as Brennan does with Emilys. Edit: So the second week of January 2023 we had our second session of the year and I shit you not, my girlfriend pulled a Hilda Hilda by giving literally giving no indication whatsoever of what she was gonna do without missing a beat when asked a certain question. She's playing a Tiefling named Excellence and it's also a school setting with the principal also being a Tiefling, and her ans the principal butt heads a bit due to her character being a danger to the other students when they go out to do missions involving the school. Well, this session I don't remember why it came up, but the Principal asked what her middle name was and she just looked me dead in the eyes and said, "Excellence." And I started losing it along with three of the other party members. I asked her to clarify that her characters name was Excellence Excellence and we ran with it from there. Funny thing is, one of the other PCs has the same mom as her making them siblings, and she's saying her mom named her that, so uh, Zak Zak Dyer the Rouge Gnome has a question he needs to ask. Best part? She doesn't even know what Dimension 20 is so she's not just copying Hilda Hilda, it's literally just a random occurrence and that makes it so much funnier.

As a DM, after watching this, I will now NEVER let my players just make a throwaway joke or gag like this without making them walk it all the way out like Brennan did here 😂! He could’ve just let it die with Emily handing over the note, but he didn’t and it’s one of the best moments of the campaign!

The way Brennan handled this had me crying laughing. He is a genius GM, and consistently brilliant every single episode.
