You've illustrated perfectly why I never ride another person's vehicle... I would be just worried the entire time about it. It's a bad situation for everyone involved honestly, I have borrowing anything for that matter just because it always seems some crazy shit happens and it's lost or damaged and of course it's not just the item but the sentimental value so there's bad feelings all around.
53 minutes! This video was a treat. This makes me want to get out and ride right now lol. Yes, we love these longer riding videos (I do at least) and you are right about videos not doing steep hills justice. Even if you look at the famous “Mount Saint Helen” hill at Glen Helen Raceway, it does no justice to what it is actually like in person because it’s basically impossible to walk up on foot.
When climbing a steep hill show the angle of the trees relative to the hill. The viewers can then understand the angle. Also don't blame yourself for the bump. It could have happened to anyone.
Dude i have a 99% stock warrior and a 85% stock raptor 660. The raptor is a blast because of the power output compared to the warrior. In all honesty the warrior is a absolute chill quad that is powerful enough to have fun in damn near any environment and are almost bulletproof. They are a bit lacking in the HP department but seriously an all around great quad. When I want to fuck around and have fun I ride my warrior. When I want to tear shit up and piss off my neighbors I hop on the raptor
Great video as usual! Don't forget Doug Gust won two national championships on a Z400 vs. TRX450's and YFZ450's. Granted those engines were worked over by TC and Yoshimura but still an impressive feat!

I ride my quad up here in Canada down at Williston lake dunes on my 2005 trx450r and man it loves the hill climbs my wife got a sports quad (2006 Polaris outlaw) so I figured I had to get one the most fun I ever had. Can’t seem to get me off of the darn thing except for this damn snow lol.
The one true redeeming quality of a 4 stroke in the dunes is actually the fuel consumption. I found myself using half the amount fuel compared to a built 2 stroke.
My neighbor had a kfx and it was the green one and it was nice as hell it was brand new at the time and I was a kid and he told me to get on the back and he rode on two wheels around his house and its nice to see that they are still around
The area you had your little run in with the 700xx was always one of my favorite areas to ride, I had a Four stroke tech 730 KFX V Force that was a dune monster.
Seems like the tractors are more dependable and do better out on those dunes. Less to worry about it seems like.... Great content! Next year you should bring your top quad there! lol

Been riding Little Sahara since 2005 and it's a blast! Yeah camera s don't do it justice. Dunes are steeper and taller than they look on film. I've seen lots of crashes and alot of people mediflighted out.
after watching this . a hybrid 250r/450 would suck for racing . when you stall your race is over lol . dave moores billet motor is beautiful . and the ltz400 was and is the best 400 quad ever made pure beast .

you should get an old electric stove off the marketplace and a powder coat gun and you could do custom colors on parts and really make the machines you rebuild look awesome like the 250r you could add that extra flash to them with some awesome powder coat colors id like to see what you can do when let loose with powdercoat i have a setup and you can get anything that will fit in a common household oven powder coated its nice not having to wait for some company to get small stuff done like atv wheels and stuff because they take 2 weeks to a month or more to get it done when you could do it yourself and save time and money
Hey guys I have a banshee that is slightly modded it has a ton of power but seems to top out way to fast what do guys think would give it more top speed, should I change the sprockets?
Try diff sprockets and what tire size you running in back? Makes a difference also.. I had a 99 roll design banshee, with Duncan national kit. Had to change sprockets for Mx & XC pine barrens set up. Always bring a spare set of plugs lol. Shit got swiped off my lawn in 2003.
It’s funny how you said the 450s killed z400s in a racing stand point I have a kfx400 making 65 hp look up 65hp z400 it’s on Suzuki central I also have 122hp quadzilla
Yo dude do you have any tips on how to get surface scratches out of plastics or at least make them less noticeable I used maxima sc1 on mine but they still look pretty rough
This has probably been said several times already, but I'm gonna throw my 2 cents in. They are called tree shots, one "o", not tree shoots. Lol And if you don't like hill climbs, what is the point of riding the dunes? That 8s the funnest part about riding the dunes. Riding the flats is for girls; unless you are going balls out and drag racing. Lol
