Himalayan 450 | Wishlist of Specifications & Features | Royal Enfield 

I think the himalayan 450 will shake up the global market, not just the Indian market. I can see it being a medium to long stroke engine, and ride like a chilled out version of the kove 450 rally (its only true competitor!) Expect it to come in light (for a royal enfield) and get some incredible reviews. Royal enfield is on fire!

No TFT, No major electronics. ABS is more than enough. Save money and provide tubeless spoked rims.

Recently our Indian Army has floated a tender for an RTV ( Rugged terrain vehicle )..the cc specs was 450 cc . Etc. So everyone would be competing

The current Himalayan doesn’t really interest me, but if the 450 is anywhere near 40 hp and under 400 pounds, I may have to have one.

The 450 engine could be more like the Duke390 in nature. A rev happy engine. Since RE is planning yo use this engine in a bunch of motorcycle s. Even some offerings that compete woth Duke390

Saw the new 450 yesterday and loved the way it's put together. Looking forward to riding it soon and of course getting it home. First RE for me and moving from imported bikes to this is a big leap for me. RE has come a long way over these last few years.

Remember the Enduro from yesteryears, looked like it came straight out of a comic strip😂......bsa bond.. ummm heard about it, don't remember seeing one......and who can forget the rather exotic Enfield Fury 175.....with front disc, alloy wheels....zundapp engine.....can't fault them for not trying, back in the day!!

I ll still go with the current gen himalayan... 3.5 on road will pose challenge to their 650 twins line up

If a colour tft screen on a bike dosent have Android Auto or Apple Car Play or any form of Full Screen Navigation Map its frankly a Gimmick & I think the Himalayan is coming with a 35Hp and within 3 Lakhs onroad to redefine the value quotient, but lets hope they dont cheap out on the Rims

If RE does anything new, buyers have to be sceptical about the reliability.
