The goddess of misfortune, Hina Kagiyama is in charge of removing misfortune from humans.
She collects Nagashi-bina dolls in which humans use to put their own misfortune and float downstream.
Kagiyama stores and amasses the misfortune, is a way of preventing it from befalling others.
However..
One day suddenly: 0:00

Here it is.. The Touhou Sprite Animation that was supposed to be done before February 14th..
But as can you see the duration of the video.. yeah lol
This project ended up being something very ambitious, I didn't believe it when I saw that I had already made 5min of video and I still lacked half of development.
Unlike another long project I did before... I really enjoyed doing this.
Nothing much more to say.. maybe this video has a slightly different theme than what I've done before but i hope youu still liked it.
If you wonder what happened next with Hina and other members.. there will be a "next part" (it will also depend if this video gets similar views/likes as my other videos)
Also.. if you decide to pause to read Aya's newspaper, sorry if the grammar is bad.
newspaper having real text was something of the last moment, at first it was just stripes that simulated letters.

5:04 lmao. Though that voice does fit Hina I'd say. Hina really is one of the most unfortunate characters looking past all the jokes, I just want to hug her even if it does cost me a few bones or a concussion.

A lot of emotion with this one. If I’m being honest exile probably wasn’t the best decision, but maybe Hina might want to invest in some Haniwa statues. I remember reading something that said certain Haniwa can trap and (seemingly) destroy negative energy. Other than that if there was one place in Gensokyo I could live at it would be Yokai Mountain if I get to see all types of action happen from the sidelines. Stellar job my friend.

A little sad that we didn't see more of Shizuha. Being responsible for the Autumn leave withering (by painting all of them by hand and physically kicking trees to scatter them about), she could probably empathize with Hina on the grounds of being unloved goddesses. All the fame for the coming of Autumn is always directed at Minoriko and her bountiful harvests, whereas Shizuha is even dubbed the "Symbol of Loneliness and Demise". You really nail the relationship between Hina and Nitori, but I always wondered if Hina and Shizuha couldn't have a similar understanding, due to their similarities. But of course, having received skull trauma from a broken hatchet kinda impairs your judgement a little ^^; Also, may I add that it's hilarious for Hina's "weapon of choice" to be spinning sawblades? X3

😀😀😀 2:30 : River Kappa auuu Isn’t that how Shion Yorigami’s misfortune powers worked? I thought that Hina knew how to actually CONTAIN the misfortune. (Though it technically never did end up directly affecting her) But UNLIKE Shion, I don’t think that she produces any of her own, nor does she need any to live, so she just needs to use it all up before returning to Youkai Mountain and stop collecting from Nagashi-bina dolls, though she won’t be much of a misfortune goddess by then. Not to mention the pile-up of misfortune-filed Nagashi-bina dolls in the riverside that’ll most definitely turn into youkai after a point, but that’ll be a problem for another time. I wonder if Shion could actually POWER UP/become stronger from collecting from Nagashi-bina dolls, but then naturally she’d become even MORE misfortunate, so I don’t think she’d do that unless she NEEDS the power-up.
