One of the best side character fights in anime. It developed really good. 1. Choreography and Fighting all over the terrain a good use of the spiritual dense environment. The flash step and floating machinics aren't overpowered. The environment is still a major factor in the fight 2. The character development and match up is short and sweet yet has depth You can see Findorrs confidence probably having good knowledge, training, and hate against soul reapers. So he wasn't off about the average power gauge, just ignorant. Reminder Tousen was the Arrancar General. You can see and sense Hisagis fear of fighting but his experience training against people stronger than him shows how he counter attacks and goes for openings. And his release is awesome. The awakening or release of a zanpakto* is more of a relationship based power. Right as Hisagi gets caught in a fatal attack it's like he finally made peace with himself and his zanpakto. He accepted that he is scared sheetless of the responsibility of taking life but that is exactly what his zanpakto can do, reap!

Hisagi is so so skillful. He's good at kido and sword fighting. And so calm and smart. He used his necklace or band as a bomb 😂

The "four pillars fights " are one of the best fights in the series

The Hisagi and Kira fights are my favorite from the arc.

When they do a anime for Kagurabachi. This guy needs to voice Chihiro. His tone and rasp match Chihiros demeanor perfectly. Imagining him say “black.” In the same way he’s says “reap.”, with that vocal effect gives me chills.

The hidden badass

I find it interesting to me when I first saw Bleach, and I watched and was introduced to Hisagi he kind reminds me of Ichigo. Their hair is styled the same way, they have a scowl looking face but they have the brightest or cutest smile, they care and got to the position they are in today by their skill set, the two differences, character wise is they have different hair color and one is human the other is a soul reaper.

Hisagi knew he had to fight Tosen so he kept his sword and spiritual pressure sealed even though his opponent was superior to him. He knew he was no match for Tosen so he had to find a way to beat a scrub like this without using his full powers, that’s why he wasn’t dominating from the start even though he could’ve

This is considered one of the fights with the best animation? It's definitely a good fight and I really enjoy it in the manga, but the level of animation quality is the same as anything else I've seen in the Bleach anime. I wonder if anime-only Bleach fans were so desperate for something produced at a good level that they latched onto this. Ikkaku vs. Edorad is a much higher quality fight in terms of animation in my opinion.

this was the last time hisagi was cool and I'm pissed AF. they even did him dirty in TYBA. they should of gave him a glow up during the second part of the arc so I'm praying in core 3 they give him his bankai like they did in the novel
