This is the best advice I could find. It didn’t solve my problem, but lead me to finding it. Knowing that it was wifi related led me to unplug each other WiFi thing in turn to test. Turned out to be some unbranded wifi smart plugs interceding with it (no where near the router, hub receiver or thermostat). Obviously just a clash in frequency or something.
I've just found your video. will have to buy a longer lead between wifi router and hive hub and then will try tomorrow but at least this sounds like an answer. thank you.
Thank you as I’ve just had mine installed and after a couple of hours the message on my phone stated that the Heating and Water were off line,so I’ve checked where the Hub and receiver were, moved them apart and both Heating and Hot Water are now back working 👌🏾
My thermostat is over 20 feet from the hub my boiler is in the back bedroom and all computers pads game systems and hive cameras are wireless and we don’t loose signal very strange you had problems
Thank you for your comment. But I am still having trouble, only last week, I went away so needed our cameras working, even though I had relocated the camera and moved the cameras and monitor, still froze the thermostat and mobile app till we returned. Soon as I unplugged the monitor the app worked again
