A few years ago I owned this pistol. I sold it. Since then ive bought the glock 43x, the m&p shield, the walther ppsm2, pretty much every small or sub carry pistol, I have tried. I have sold them all. I just bought this one again today. It is the best. Period.

Yeah and this one came with Trijicon HD night sights and all 3 mags have extensions on the base plates. That's another reason why I do my business with Pelican State Armory.

great detailed video brother, defiantly subscribed,,, i have 2 questions for you, i have the same gun bought it used and i noticed something, when the trigger is pulled the slide is tight to rack but when the slide is racked and the trigger is in the ready position or firing position the slide is really easy to push back for like the first 5mm or so does your do that??? also do you carry it appendix??????

Thank you, I appreciate the compliment and subscription. So to answer your questions yes mine acts in the same way yours does when the trigger is pressed the slide is tight from the very start all the way back but when cocked and trigger in the ready position the slide will move that first little bit real easy till the barrel tilts downward then it is tight again. Sounds like the same as yours. Yeah I'm appendix all the way as you can see I'm a smaller guy so I don't really have any comfort issues and to me its the fastest way to access aside from OWB 3 o'clock (if right handed).

I use all of them honestly, I like shooter's lube, CLP all in one, Hoppe's, if I could afford to have everything I have cerakoted I'd go that route and treat mine alot less lol

Was that an orange follower? Looks badass with the trijicon HD’s, where can I get a mag like that? Also I have been carrying this gun for about 6 months and since I bought it brand new the gun will not lock back with one of my magazines.. other than that its hands down my favorite carry pistol and thats me comparing it to my g19, p229, m&p 2.0 great video man! Keep it up! Just subscribed 🙏🏼

It's not a follower it's a training aid called a barrel blok. I have a link in some of my other videos for it I'll have to edit this one and put it in there. Yeah the ergonomics are much better than my Springfields and Rugers. I've never been a fan of the palm swell on glocks but it has gotten better with the gen 5s. I would like it to lock to the rear when it empties but I do suppose it's best to train to never run dry anyways. Thanks for the feedback and kind words I certainly appreciate it and the sub!

I knew that. Its a piece that comes with the barrel blok that keeps your slide from locking back on an empty mag for dry firing. Its 4 pieces total 1 piece that inserts in your barrel and 3 pieces for mags.

While I agree with you in the sense that stream light makes very high quality lights I'm not sure it's the best for every application. A couple of reasons I really light OLIGHTS 1. The valkyrie mini 2s like the one in this video have an adjustable sliding rail making it fit on virtually any size handgun. 2. The quick disconnect makes swapping between different pistols or taking off (for using alternate holsters) a breeze. And 3. Being rechargeable makes it affordable to practice with versus spending a ton in batteries for 1.5 hours worth of burn time. The quality of build of an OLIGHT is comparable to that of a streamlight but at much less the cost and big savings in the long run in my opinion. Thanks for the feedback.

So your looking for the size of a sub compact with a decent capacity 🤔 have you considered a Glock 43X, Springfield Mod.2 or M&P Sheild?

@@dennisb4027 you really can't go wrong with CZ or H&K, I've had great success with all my Springfields but among competitors that run them much more then average I hear of grip safeties failing and the roll pin in the slide shattering from tons of strikes from dry firing.

Quite honestly I can not remember where I picked them up to save my life but they're just +3 base plate extenders so it turns the 10 rounders into 13. Sorry I couldn't be of anymore help!

1) should have spent the extra money on a VIRIDIAN C5L vs OLIGHT much better Laser/Lite 2) Not FINS >>CHARGING PORTS 3) Nite Sites are Stock on any LE edition HK VP 9s & 3 mags 4) I got my Full Size HK VP9 LE for $550. Brand New 5) Trigger pull is 5.3 lbs from factory. 6) The rear of the Gun is your Red load indicator port window. 7) If you paid $600. USED you got taken my friend. You should have gotten that gun New for that Price

I have a C5LG on a Mod.2 and an RTL on an XDS just had to send both in for warranty work couple of weeks back. Terminology on some things are really important. OLIGHTS are nice for quick on and off the firearm when using with different holsters and recharging is super sweet. Cocking indicator is on the rear load indicator is on the extractor. The sights on this particular gun are aftermarket trijicons. Appreciate the input all the same glad you got a deal for yours and I'm still happy with what I gave for mine.

My response on how can anybody trust me is watch my videos and use your judgement if you believe you should or not. I haven't gained anything from this channel aside from my own experiences and what is learned through engagement with the viewers. Y'all can test and use these things and figure out what works best for you. As far as I go, I share my experiences with y'all as merely a hobby. My primary goal is sharing, if in the end I gain something monetary it would only be a byproduct...

All the products I show except for certain guns I bought and paid for and only recommend what has been good for me. I only stand to lose viewers if I lie about the things I talk about. Would you like me to do a video on junk and things I wouldn't recommend? Let me say this I can assure you if you have a youtube channel with the amount of traffic mine has you will know first hand I'm not making squat, nill, nada, zilch 😅
