This guy is wrong. His finger/hand don’t fit this gun. Or he has poor finger control. Don’t go filing anything of your gun if this happens to you train or get a different gun that fits your needs. Just pay attention to his finger placement is awful.
So you think it is a trigger problem when a trigger doesn't work when not properly used? Simple fix: pull the trigger normally. Who pushes a trigger sideways? This is a very specific user-caused problem, not a trigger problem, and has nothing to do with model or design. You literally just made a video showing people how to make their guns less safe, because you don't know how to use a trigger properly. This is a non-issue. PSA: Pull the trigger to the rear, not to the side, and it will work. There. Problem solved, No modifications to a gun can solve for stupid.
Thank you for this information. I have the Hellcat RDP. I'll check mine today. I just got the Olight BaldrS. What OWB holster do you recommend ? Thanks, Josey Wales
I love me some box fed shotguns. I don't have this one but i do have the JTS AK 12 and two 12 gauge bullpups. After the break in they have proven to be very reliable.
How in the world is your trigger that light? Did you put 2k rounds through it and polish the trigger? Lol that’s nuts…. But anyways I just bought a FNX 9 and I am in love with it.
The only problem with the trigger is that people dont know how to pull it. You DO NOT put sideways pressure on the trigger if you are wanting to be accurate. A correct trigger pull will work every time. Instead of trying to fix a gun that is working properly, try fixing your trigger pull.
I gotta give you an adda boy. I am a sheet metal worker/welder as a carrier. You are the first video I have ever heard say anything about how a weld will pull the metal towards it while it cools. Well done.
Very nice video. I did a quick video of two flat shooting pistols, my Staccato XC and Cosaint Arms COS21 V10 ported. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7RzYej6mHWM.htmlsi=hz0VpU515hkdchy9
I bought one a year ago and it functioned perfectly right out of the box. Buck, bird, or slug it shot everything I put in it with zero hiccups! And that was from round 1 with NO breakin. So maybe RIA did some fine tuning? Or I just got really lucky? I don't know, anyway for mods I removed the thumbhole stock and went with MAGPUL CTR stock and MOE-K2+ grip. I also switched to the long hand guard with M-LOC on all 4 sides from Advanced Tactical (I didn't like how the factory hand guard had no PIC rail or slots on the bottom) this allowed me to put a short piece of MAGPUL pic rail on the bottom in case I wanted to attach a bipod, and also added the MAGPUL angled foregrip. On top I have a Vortex Strikefire red dot with a Vortex 3X magnifier. Out front I have a STREAMLIGHT ProTac Rail Mount HL-X Laser mounted on the left side because I am a mutant, with the pressure switch on top. I'm really digging it now that I have it setup the way I want it. It's pretty BADASS!!! FYI if anyone wants a drum I bought an actual Turkish made 20 rnd drum from Classic Firearms for much cheaper than a Promag!!!
The vr80 is a very nice rifle by RIA for sporting and hunting in a Ar15 style why would you call it an assault 12ga shot gun in the title of your video.who and what are you assaulting.
I didn't mind for about 5 years and never had a single problem with it you guys all put them through destructive behavior and everything which I carry mine for sticking in someones belly if need to be
Recently bought a hellcat. Noticed the same issue but still shot without any other issues. I love it and will have the trigger rectified. Thank you for your informational video. Gj
For every hater, you probably saved a life by identifying this defect. Haters are how we got Biden as a President. You keep posting, let them keep hating, and we will keep surviving.
I have a VR70, I guarantee you he’s not running high enough brass to get it to eject properly. Also when you put the safety switch on, you cannot get the shell to eject as it locks the mechanism. I stored mine for 20+ days locked back to break in the spring and first time shooting went through 165 rounds without a single jam. User error IMO
I have a vr80 and first shoot jammed all the time a you tuber showed factory mags need to be filed on th ears on top once don never had trouble again also bought the Sam drum but made sure it didn’t have the same problem. Love it now we own 2 boss 25 also
For people who want a cheap fix, this is great! I just dropped in a mcarbo kit into my hellcat and love it. Metal trigger, adjustable and light and crisp. I did put the whole kit in that including the titanium striker assembly though.
I have the Cobra tech light and for edc self defense I think it is great would never use it for every day use but the trapper or the Diablo or the rycker they do very good for edc use
He's not wrong I noticed a second I had the pistol in my hand and if you were to shoot it multiple times The trigger card against your finger under the trigger guard it's a very jagged edge and I ended up filing that out to make it real smooth so yes from the factory it's a very square cut edge which could dig into your finger under recoil this did not have a very smooth grip I myself had to take a file to remove some of the squareness of the bottom of the trigger guard to make it more comfortable against my finger and my hand he is correct this is a production line made gun. I have also experienced the same thing with the trigger proper trigger technique and training would make this obsolete however he's correct if somebody is in a panic situation and grabs that pistol and it needs to go off and you approach it from the side of the trigger and squeeze it's not going to go off.
The failure to fire at less than 100rds, is an issue. They have a serious striker issue. I have sent mine back 2x and each time they clean it, 'test' it, and send it back with a condescending remark about how it needs cleaned (1st time repair) and needs no oil in the striker channel and must be 100% dry (problem with that is i video'ed opening the box from first repair and still no fire, it clicks, but no dimple on the primer, and I never oiled it, cleaned it, or broke it down the second time, so if there's an issue with too much oil, it was the Tech that did it) I think they have a Tech that hates 2A, or they have a terrible customer service and poor quality control. If a gun comes back with a fail-to-fire claim, it should never be send back to owner as repaired unless it has been test fired, period. I have lost all faith in Springfield...
Step 1 Newbie knife people don't even think about blade steel 👍. Then step 2 you get bitten by the knife bug, and become a knife steel nerd, and crave super steels and obsess over edge retention and HRC. Step 3 You realize super steels really aren't that great, and realize 14c28n, AEB-L, 154cm with a good heat treatment are the way to go🤷. That's what you call full circle 😬🤷
I prefer d2 steel in all of my knives. I understand that it isn't the hardest steel and it isn't a super steel but the flip side of that is that it sharpens very nicely. Its easy for me to put a razor edge on my d2 knives and I don't find that is looses its edge easily. I am way harder on my knives than just cutting cardboard and tape, as well. Routinely I scrape adhesives and debris with ease. For 100 bucks I think that this is a pretty good otf knife. Still my favorite value knife is the OKCRAT model 1. For 35 bucks the knife is a mega value. I can't destroy it and it's still tight like a tiger after two years of continuous use... bordering abuse. Thanks for the video
