Wow! HMart! Thought the one they are building in Pearl City was the only one! Good to hear they are already open in Kakaako! Only with Amanda and Felix can I get this kind of news! Thought HMart would be like the ones in the mainland where the take-out both hot and cold is killers. When the Pearl City one opens I know they will have similar take-outs as the mainland. You gotta do a review on that store when it opens. Mahalos, and nice shirts!

Yes! Also there’s a hidden one in kalihi too! The one in kalihi has no food court but has a cold section for ban Chans that look ono! We definitely wouldn’t mind stopping by the Pearl city one when it’s done and the hype dies down a bit!😋

Da chicken sandwich looked really ono! Raspberry white chocolate truffle is my favorite ice cream. You should put your opening logo on a black shirt on the front pocket & the French fry design on the back imho. Keep up the good work!

Aloha Amanda & Felix. Love the t-shirts (I am Team Soggy Fries). The food looked good (especially the chicken sandwich) at the food court, we have an HMart about an hour south of where I live but they don't have a food court like the one you guys have in Hawaii. The Soggy Fry shirts rock! Amanda would love In-N-Out fries as thats what they do. I would grind those sandwiches hard. Funny, I grew up on Texas toast and now in recent years that style has become so popular. I reckon it makes any sandwich mo' betta'. You guys got the “Budae Jjigae”. Or Korean Army stew it should be familiar local ingredients because this came after Korean War like Hawaii post WWII the US military introduced their k/rations to Korea! So you get spam, Vienna sausage, or hot dog kinda like Felix said Hawaii pantry staples in. Korean broth and k noodles!🤙🏽

I loved the food on this video, I love Korean food. I would have eaten all of the selections. Especially the Bulgogi sandwich and the chicken sandwich. Too bad the Korean Spicy Chicken wasn't the best, I really like them when their spicy. I've wanted to try that Army style stew, only seen them on RU-vid. They look like what we made at home. I was in Korea for a few years. The army stew is one of the most popular Korean food. It is easy and cheap. People usually have it with Soju.

👅 I know what's for lunch tomorrow. Next line of merch - book of all ur foodie adventures. No shame with growing up on instant noodles, it's what our parents could afford. I put kim chee and siracha in my instant noodles too. Do you stir in a scambled egg while it's boiling? It gives it a birds nest soup vibe. Triple chocolate and macadamia is my fave. I appreciate y'all for being our tour guide thru the maze of eateries scattered thru out the island. 🤙🏼❤️

The egg, bacon, and cheese sandwiches 🥪 looked so great, I would 💕 love it for breakfast. The t-shirts are really cute. Been to H-Mart Food Court but missed that chicken sandwich. Looks awesome! Definitely a must-buy next time! BTW west-siders, H-Mart is coming to PC Shopping Center in the old Foodland space. That was a HUGE space, so I'm hoping for a "deluxe" H-Mart!

Cute “Soggy fry gang” t-shirt, but in all honesty, I would really love to see your logo on a tshirt. Maybe a small logo on the front chest with random illustrations of your fav foods in the back or possibly cute regular sayings that you use in your videos... I.e.” let’s eat”, “we’re starving”, “foodie ohana”, etc. you guys have a plethora of content that you can use! Can’t wait to see your merchandise! The first 'instant' noodles that I had came out a very long time ago. It was the frozen S&S Saimin. A bit later the dried instant noodle came from Japan, Cup Jorick and Cup O Noodle. Cup Jorick was a curry one that was really ono. BTW, my favorite was Ed & Don's macadamia nut ice cream over some fresh cantaloupe. Does Ed & Don's still make ice cream?

@@AmandaFelixEats I think Ed & Don's was the first ice cream shop I ever went to, but that was small kid time for me. Way before you were born. I think they still make chocolates though. My go to saimin is from Sun Noodle, along with their other ramen flavors.

@@AmandaFelixEats Ohhhh, I feel old now! We used to go to Ed & Don's in the Windward City SC back in the day. Best ice cream and great chocolates! They still have a retail outlet near Radford High School behind Target, but they no longer sell ice cream. Plus, you have to make an appointment due to COVID. You cannot just walk-in.

I've had Budae jjigae (Korean army stew) in Seoul several times. It was awesome but prepared differently than what is shown. Anxious to try everything else at Hmart's food court when I come back home.

Is there any Korean place that can make korean drummettes like the old school place of "H.K. chicken" of the 90's on kapiolani Blvd where target is now. The chicken was breaded with Kim chee flavored breading and was so crunchy.

The sandwich bread looks like punaluu sweet bread. Sliced thick but soft and pillowy. But they look good!

Wow that chicken sandwich looks good, I’m sure Im going there to try that sandwich. How bout you guys make a video where to get the best chicken sandwich. Mcdonalds, Burger King, Jollibee, Popeyes, KFC, Carl’s Jr. I love to see that. I haven’t seen video about the best chicken sandwich. Aloha.
