Extended hood 359 Peterbilt Aerodyne hauling a WWII Studebaker US6 and Caterpillar D13000 engine along Alaska's Turnagain Arm. Caterpillar used the D13000 in the D82U dozer, it also isn't uncommon to see them powering large boats. This particular engine was used on a Generator Set and has around 300 hours since overhaul. There is road construction between Anchorage and Seward and as always, the scenery is spectacular. Thanks for coming along with us! #359peterbilt #studebakerus6 #aerodyne #oldschool

Remember those days when only maybe five rigs in say a hour came by around outskirts of anchorage and at night, might not even see a rig on the road from anchorage to wasilla... great times... flat tires meant no one but you changed that tire...

Dang TJ! I remember when you ordered your Pete and went to get it! Miss the days when your dad had the shop on Tudor Road and the guys working there.

How in the world are you Bill? Haven't seen you since the old Truck 'N Trailer days back in the early 90s. I still see Terry and Mary all the time. We lost Dad in '18 but he lived to be 88 and was still driving the day he left us, never be able to fill that gap in my life but I carry him with me. - Yes, the old Pete is 40 years old now, I still can't quite get my head around that concept either. Be great to sit down and break bread with you again Amigo! Thanks for dropping a line and Keep'em Rolling!

@@AlaskaTrucker It’s been a minute since we last saw each other and we live in the same damned little town! I’d love to meet up! I last saw Terry and Mary about 6 years ago at a military reunion event. Funny enough, I work summers at a motorcycle rental shop just down Hartzel Road from the T&T shop and have a my own motorcycle repair shop behind my house in Bayshore. I gave up my CDL after I retired from the industry 3 years ago. Don’t miss it at all! Lol!
