Looking forward to your video on the A3 Super 3. I just took delivery on mine yesterday. I have not seen any videos on the new computer software. Thanks so much. You are a great asset to the RC community.
Hello what do you think are the best settings for the 1,5m eflight cirrus? Im beginner and wanna fly relaxed so i need very beginner settings... Can u help me?
Good day sir Did you make a video on setting up the other 2 stabilizers ? Reason why I ask because the videos of “capt” Brian are not always accurate , systematic and clear enough (as is the case in the videos linked ). I am interested in the A3 pro setup. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your great videos that offer priceless information that would take people a lifetime to figure out or learn on their own. Thank you
Hi, I'd like to have this kind of thing in my kingfisher. Is there a special tip to know with the flaps? thanks for all yours very clear and informatives vids.
Thanks for this Painless. Exactly what I was looking for. Just ordered the Pro version. Just one question... I need this because I'm new to this fixed wing stuff and not at all sure I can fly a wing in 'rate' mode. You mention to add the stabiliser after flying, checking and trimming the wing. Trouble is it'll probably be smashed into a million little bits of EPP by then with my skills.😀 How would you approach my dilemma?
For your first flight it's better to take off with the gyro off, gain some height and then flip the switch to see how the plane responds. You've bought the Pro version which has extra features such as Level Calibration which need to be set correctly as in the 'safe' modes such as Trainer mode stick movements will be moderated.
Lee I'm setting up a a3 v2 and everything works correct apart from the rudder and elevator, the rudder moves when the elevator should and visa versa,is there away to correct this.thnx
This device seems to be a stripped down version of the MicroBeast Flybarless controller I installed in my Trex Dominator 470L. If you're into Helis you should checkout the MicroBeast it is quite an amazing device and like the Hobby Eagle almost all the mixing is done in the controller. Great Video, thanks.
Again and as always great video and explanation. Just a question to see if it is clear to me, if you have a dual rates plane and expo, all that should be eliminated? Thank you.
Thanks for this Painless!! I'm looking at putting this in a warbird, just to help with Wind, in normal mode it's not like auto level where you have to hold the plane into a bank is it? I'm not a fan of horizon type modes, just would like a little AS3X like action without a $100+ receiver
Have one of these in a basher plane. It is great to help when teaching people to fly. Really takes away the fear of overdoing controls......and leading to horrific horrible crashes
Thanks. I have been using an A3 pro with a Spektrum radio and the mess of all the wires. I just got a Q X7 last week and set the default order as TAER. So I just changed it back to AETR as it seems that will makes things easier in the future.
Hello & good morning from Dallas, Texas..... thank you for the decal/keep calm note via Royal Mail Stamp. It was a thoughtful gesture from a class act..... Very professional indeed.
Thanks! My first time setting up a stabiliser, so this was a good vid for me. I don't understand the three-way input, it must be automatic, altho' my stabiliser has four, not three settings? Also, the slot heads on the individual gains are poor quality - a nightmare to adjust. The tip about setting up in 3D was great , as was the 'reversing' that followed! Thanks again.
Great video, very clear. Having setup a few of these for friends it might be worth showing how a 'badly' configured install will react in different modes. The limited movement and slow responses in some modes often surprises people too. I'm also not a great fan of leaving the master gain on the transmitter (too easy to move/fiddle accidentally). Once determined it's safer to apply to the stabiliser and disable the channel.
Is there any reason you chose to run this instead of Matek F411-WING Flight Control I ordered this for my Sonic mini wing and then discovered the Matek flight controller, seems to be a better option kinda wish I would have purchased that instead.
These videos are made to show how to setup the technology. It pays to do your homework before taking the plunge. I did a video on it Fixed Wing and Planes 101: Stabiliser or flight controller? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YAfNC55Udu0.html
Bother! I now have a continuously flashing red light? I can move from it into the 'selection box' , but when I try to get out of that, it goes back to a continuous flashing red light. This isn't mentioned in any manual or video, and I'm a bit stuck? Help?
The setup and adding of channels in OpenTX is a common thing so check out my OpenTX mix school playlist for how to do it.. I also have a QX7 playlist too.. best of luck!
hi i have the A3-LV2 and cant get it to work at all first problem was no control to tx them when it did come on it but my plane into a mad like delta helly mix sticks all over . do you have to add this to a new receiver ie not been bind great video would rely love some help cheers from newcastle
All of the steps are in the video. I made a playlist for all three of them. I'm not following what you're actual issue is but all I did to set mine up is in here.. best of luck!
Do you see any benefit of the basic version over the S6R/S8R? I set up an S6R recently in a Bonsai wing and it works very well, especially launching in takeoff mode. Have ordered a second for a bigger wing I have .
I'm not a fan of the SxR receivers. I made the videos on getting them to work as Frsky had made such a mess of the documentation and so many pilots were damaging planes. When setup they work well. I've used lots and non yet offer the perfect storm of ease and powerful features - yet! Adding a flight controller seems to be the goto for me.. Horses for courses..
hi i have a problem with a3 all fine, but rudder is not going down than i move stick down on remote ? is ist normal may be ? another ele and ail ok (full period).
I learned to fly helicopters using Co-Pilot. It was a system that used an infrared sensor that monitored temperature gradient by looking at the horizon. It's bullet proof.
@@cmulder002 actually, I have. Over an ice skating rink too. A frozen lake. LOTS of night flying. In winter and summer. Indoors too. It's always done fine. In fact, you can orient the sensor right side up or down. It figures it out. It's got an aerobatic mode too. And even does VTOL.
@@cmulder002 It describes any fixed wing aircraft with "Vertical Take Off/Landing capability. Like the Harrier Jump Jet or F-35. There is also a STOL designation for Short Take Off/Landing capability. This is what the British Aircraft carriers do with the Harriers. They use a short deck with a "ski jump" on it that helps a heavily loaded Harrier get into the air without the need of a catapult.
