Hey man love your videos! I'm from NJ and just got back into the hobby. It's been so long I cannot even remember what car I was running but I'm pretty sure it was a nitro car.Anyway I just picked up the Traxxas Bronco sunset scheme and a Element Ecto (the dark green one). I'm alraedy having a blast and the director of finances wasn't even pissed at me because of the purchase!
Yes, proline makes a step side. It used to be not very detailed, but since they released the new one on the axial truck is pretty good and it's only about $69 for the body.
...If it helps, I put a Traxxas 12T in my Axial SCX10 II, & it did great, with a 13-tooth pinion, and stock diff. gearing, "no overdrive", just straight-up 12T stock Traxxas motor out of my 1/16th scale "Mini-Slash" !!! And yes, that 1/16th scale Slash does come with a 1/10th scale motor, which made my Mini-Slash go about 22mph... (with plenty of torque) !!!! ...Bottom line, it is an "ok" motor, but I really suggest using a $20 Holmes Hobbies Motor from a local hobby shop. ...Like a 13T, but it "does" depend on your gearing of your rig !!! - Good Luck👌
@@ezboyrc553 ...Yes, my Traxxas 12T "stock" motor ran a bit warm, almost hot, with the Traxxas (2.5) ESC, from my Traxxas Slash (1/16th scale), but it did "feel right", as far as "oomph"/get-up & go, and low range was "do-able", but having "more low-end" in any crawler is important !!! 👍 - Great course & video, keep 'em comin' !!! 😉 💪🇺🇸
