Hobie PA 14 Accessories To Make it Easier to Kayak Bass Fish Competitively & Some Other Stuff

I bring a ridiculous amount of plastics with me on the kayak and only use about 20% of them. This year I’m cutting down for sure. In my opinion, less is better. Love the Ketch board holder. Looking into one of those for sure. Cool video buddy. 👍🎣

I would like to say I understand keeping it clean. I would like to point out I take the lid off that H-rail storage pack u remove and store 2-3 Plano boxes in there. Just to think on

Awesome setup! WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION So important! I like to have 2 Buzbee Colony 28 boxes (3700 size) I carry in that large H-Rail tackle bin. I like to keep the right side clear since that's where I land fish and where I "slip" out to exit the kayak. But if I put that bin on the left, with my fish finder and other gear, the Hobie lists noticeably to port! I never knew why UNTIL I relocated the bin. Looks like you drilled holes in the bottom of that bin? That's what I did too! KISS Keeping things simple is also key. Not saying I'm great at it!!! BUT one day I hauled out 30 pounds of gear (a lot of which was tons of tungsten). What inspired me was bringing in my Hobie to have the fish finder installed, and realizing how much lighter it was without all the crap in it! I've never been what you'd call a "light packer" but continue to try to be more realistic about what I REALLY need. NACQUA DUAL USB ADAPTER This was the reason I stumbled upon this video. I love having this on the Hobie, and just upgraded to the PA 14 360 so was looking for installation tips. And you did not disappoint! I haven't figured out exactly HOW I will install, but I LOVE the idea of NOT drilling holes in a $5,800 investment! I'm considering using my second bin and drilling the hole in THAT, maybe even on the tray for easy access. PLUS I could plug my fish finder in using another hold. That would put some weight on the left, but we'll see if that works. MIGHT be able to put the tray INSIDE, but I do use the rod holders while transporting. Got some figuring to do!
