Hoda should NOT feel shame for being an older mom - she is probably a better one than the younger ones. More evolved and self aware.

Exactly! You don’t need to be in your 20s to have children, I think the older you are is better sometimes......😊

I just had my 1st baby at 36 and I am beyond happy about my decision I feel like I get to live 2 seperate phases of a fulfilling life!

Hoda didn't choose to HAVE a baby, she chose to ADOPT one (now two). Fortunately, NBC pays her very well enough to be able to choose. The girls are the blessed ones to get adopted. Hoda is certainly no saint here. I find her very self-absorbed and full of crap. My opinion only. You're free to have your own.

Nowadays 36 isn't old to have a baby. I had my first at 31 and second at 36. My daughter had her first at 34. Her friends had babies in their mid-thirties as well. Hoda was 52. Big difference.

Thanks Hoda, indeed you get your parent for as long as you get your parent. My Dad passed when I was 10 years. The strong foundation he laid for me in those few years has carried me in this life. He was the kindest and most generous human. Worked hard as an economist and provided not only for his children, but for his parents, siblings, neighbors and strangers. He cared so deeply. I learned so much from his beautiful heart and I miss him a lot but I’m so grateful for him and who he was. Love & miss you Dad 💙

My friend, her mother has her when she was 48. Many do it later in life, I will do it later too. More wise.

This is a two-sided coin. I was born to my parents when my mom was 45 and my dad was 50..they already had grandchildren. My dad died when I was 4. My mom never remarried. She was a grandmother/mom rolled in to one and I was the most blessed person in the world. On the flip side, she died when my kids were still kids…they missed out on the amazing beauty that was my mom.

My grandma had 11 kids, starting at age 20. Had her 11th baby at age 43.

I do feel bad for her kids only for the fact that statistically they will live the majority of their life without their mom being alive.

But she is still their mother she had those girls since birth, any one can carried a child,doesn’t mean anything, a real parent is the one who raised you
