These boots have been a life changer for me I suffered excruciating pain from plantar fasciitis and knee pain Kaha boots the Best. I have a slim foot my normal size is 10.5 in this hoka I’m a 10 wider foot may be true to size. Super light good support durable water resistant amazing sole grip I have changed my entire foot wear to Hoka.

There are no words that can describe the quality of these hiking boots !!! They are trully the most comfortable I have ever worn. It's true I have worn a lot of hiking and jogging shoes, but these are awesome for me > shock absorption, even over 700 km !!! > sole comfort > compressive strength > ankle stabilization, despite the relatively soft collar. As it is common for climbers and hikers to get half a number bigger than in sports, so did I. However, since they have a fairly wide line, I wear them with a double sole, and I feel so comfortable that at the end of each long journey (eg 25 km with 1800 m. Ascent and descent respectively), I DO NOT FEEL THE NEED TO TAKE THEM OUT OF MY LEGS !!! I have done 750 km so far,. I changed the sole change at 500 km, for € 30.00. The absorption of the vibrations is as in the beginning, despite the rugged rocky soils that I have crossed (Tymfi Karteros pass, Gorilla ridge, Petrovitsa ridge, etc. many). In conclusion, I highly recommend them, and if the amount of about € 220.00 seems huge, believe me, they are cheap for their build quality and durability.

These are cool. I got the Bodega X Hoka Collab Kaha low and I love them. They are so insanely comfortable and they feel so unique.

These are some of the best shoes I’ve ever owned. They can do almost anything despite being a little bulky. They do have a couple weaknesses that I don’t see discussed enough in reviews. One is that the outsole is attached to the midsole in segments and can detach rather easily from the midsole foam compared to other boots in this price range, but if you know this about Hoka’s, you can take care not to be too rough on the lugs. The second weakness, which Hoka has addressed with the Anacapa and the Kaha 2, is the rand on the toe of the boot. It either needs to be tapered and glued very well, like on higher end european mountaineering boots, or stitched, which they have chosen to do on the other models. On this model the rand will begin to detach over time ever so slightly even with great care given to the shoes.

I was looking into these shoes or the anacapa to use on a week long hike with backpack early January in Kenya (hot, usually no rain) however I doubt they are breathable enough. Any advice on shoes to look for without gore tex in mid height and good support? Or are these " the ones"? Thanks!

Comfortable n light.... Best boot hands down!!! Picture walking on clouds.... I wear a 13 (wide foot)... Got a 12.5 fit perfect....

The cushioning/sole look elevated. What is the height of them? Do they affect your walking as you adapt?

How would you advise to clean the nubuck like outer material? I have the light green bodega ones and am scared to stain more after getting a drink spilled on them.

Anacapa or Kaha for snow and winter conditions. Im thinking Kaha is more waster proof in snow conditions. I need a rocker sole and have a ton of Hoka shoes.

Is this good to use for winter time? Like if the road is slippery?

Unfortunately the Vibram sole pieces come unglued and separate from the edges. I learned the hard way and almost got hurt! Upon inspection I found numerous pieces on both boots coming unglued! Hoka would not warranty the boots! I had purchased a second pair because I liked these until I had the sole issue. Hoka did take back the unused pair. Since everything else with the boots are great it is Gorilla glue to the rescue constantly! I wish they would of never discontinued the Tor Ultra Hi! I beat 3 pair of them up over a 6 year period.

I think that all black color is a waste. You’ll get your moneys worth if it had some color. Might as well buy some Reebok British Knights….Looks better and more comfortable…
