holding on to regret does nothing but make u regret more in future...life is short, dont hold onto everything that weighs u down.. just focus on the positive things..things will surely change and that day is so close and u would be thinking "why did i even worry about it" life is not in our hands...shits happens and thats life...whats the worse that could happen...at these tough times being kind to yourself is very important...take care...

I'm a 27 years old man. My regret is not taking care of myself in a specific situation. My mind is in so much pain. Almost 4 months ago, in an extremely distressing and painful emotional situation, I hit my head against the headboard of my bed. Actually, that same day in the afternoon, I was with my girlfriend that I love so much. She always shared her talks with her other male coworkers and I was absolutely okay with that. I never showed any insecurity. Now almost 4 months ago, I was sitting with her in a resturant, and showed her the profile picture of my PhD female class fellow from whatsapp just for introduction. And guess what? In a very disrespectful manner, she left the resturant immediately. That phd classmate of mine is married and has a daughter too. From afternoon till midnight, I kept on explaining to my girlfriend through whatsapp that my classmate is already married and I only talk to her in a very formal way. In the resturant, she had herself checked my messages and discovered nothing flirty or informal. I even sent my girlfriend the voice messages of that girl that the conversation was purely academic, related to phD classes. She did not listen at all and said extremely hurtful things. I don't know what happened to me that night, my girlfriend I loved so much not listening to me at all and showing apathy drove me insane and I smashed my head against the headboard of my bed in my room. Now I have a minor cut on my forehead. People can't really notice it but I so much wish it fades away over time. It has impacted my self esteem quite negatively. All the time, I am conscious of myself. Every morning I wake up and get scared by seeing myself in the mirror as it reminds me my disturbing situation. I repeatedly keep on asking myself questions like how could I do that to myself. But believe me, that moment was emotionally intensely suffocating and stressful for me. I wanted to scream alot to ease my pain that night but did not wish to disturb my parents. She used to tell me that men praise her beauty and I always showed no insecurity and laughed and told her that yes she deserves this appraisal. Don't know how could she show such mistrust while my conversation with my phd classmate was purely academic related to research work. Another important thing to mention here is that I have never ever checked the phone of my girlfriend till this very day. I always valued trust above everything.

Regret is so debilitating but it's also kinda true, if you've made a huge mistake and lost a lot of money, it can really affect the rest of your life and as humans we always tend to think back on the past. But this is a great video, I hope my regret can go away.

My deepest regret is not asking for help during my critical times and instead I gave up without even trying. Things would have been different if I asked my friends who were absolutely willing to help but it was my own inability that resulted to what I have now.

Regret can be minimalized. This is what I tell my subscribers. Fact is that most will die with regret of things they didn't do versus the things they did that were failures. Failure is far less painful than than the pain of never trying at all. Trust me on this as a former skilled nursing home provider. Everyone in their last days said the same thing--how all they did was pay bills, how they never wrote that book or saw Nepal. I can tell you that I have had massive failures of things attempted that just weren't meant to be. But I have minimal regret because I DID attempt them. And that is the key to having minimal regret in life. Everyone has regrets but they should be small. If you pursue everything you dream about--failure or not you will have a sense of at least giving it a best shot. That's the secret. Hope this helps---Charles

There are things happen in our lives , by our own mistakes , cost us alot of mental pain and regret , especially when you think how it was easily preventable , you don't understand how everything ligned together for that mistake to happen . F*ck this life , you can't control what happens in your life , stop beating your self over your past mistakes, these things happen , and there alot of upcoming things that will happen and you will tegret in the future this is how life works . The biggest failure is to listen to people who think they have made it. The toxic thing about people like this is the word ‘investment’. Don’t invest in money, invest in time :)

@uncommoncollinyt Would you still be willing to make the video about Batman Year One? I would like to hear your thoughts and analysis on that story. Thank you.

It’s hard to listen to someone who grossly exaggerates everything. No doubt he worked long hours in his 20s but he didn’t work literally every minute. We’re supposed to believe he never watched a movie, never jerked off, never watched TV, never went shopping, etc.?
