It's been ten years since The Last Hope released on Xbox 360. I find my save files, long believed to be lost, stashed away in cloud storage. Will I finally get to 100% this game?

I don't remember having those issues was a great game for me :)

I didn’t realize that The Last Hope had so many issues (in regards to bugs/glitches). I didn’t play through it until the international edition was released for PS3. The disc swapping required sounds extremely frustrating. Glad I didn’t have to experience the game that way. I used to be a big collector of physical games but the convenience of digital paired with cloud saves has me sold. If companies can play nice and support cross play it would be even better. Also, all games for each system should be backwards compatible moving forward. Microsoft and Nintendo have started to, as well as Steam. The real hold outs at the moment are Sony and the new Epic Game Store (-_-). I’m happy to hear your story about recovering your save files. That’s really cool.

Thanks for watching, as always. Yeah, the International release is a good one. I prefer the menu colors and the anime style portraits. A lot of folks like to choose Japanese in JRPGs, but I have to be honest in that I like playing in a language I can understand. I suppose if it becomes the only way I can experience my favorite games, I'd go digital, but no series has succeed in getting me to make the jump yet.

@@BrockShake It makes sense. There will always be a part of me that will miss physical releases and the nostalgia tied to it. For some reason digital just works better for me at this point in time. It all comes down to what makes you happiest though. Can't say I'm not envious of your collection and the cool finds you've shown at your local video game store(s).

Exactly, what makes you happy. Thank you. I imagine if a series like Star Ocean went 100% digital my mindset would be: well, it's better than no Star Ocean at all. If a series like Suikoden or Breath of Fire got revived, that would do it too. If Square Enix keeps their word and intends to make all of their games available digitally at some point, I'd buy Secret of Evermore (I just pray it's not on iPhone or something like that). I do like to own game physically, but I'm also not one of those people who can fill a basement with his stuff. All my games fit on a bookshelf. Another factor, I don't own the Switch yet, so all I really have is consoles. That probably influences my want for physical games, too.
