Hi Furqan Aslam u alikum, Actually i agree with your comment but the fight with conor was different. Conor breached all his limits. He was disrespecting our religion and even behind the camera. That's was much needed !

It's because Khabib brings his religion with him wherever be goes. When he is interviews, press conferences, etc, he always mentions Allah. In front of thousands of people who hate him.

Because conor made it about religion. He was talking about how the Caucasians (Muslims) were massacred by the Russians (Christians) he was talking about Khabib being a backwards cunt for not accepting his whiskey. He said he was going to get Khabib for the Russian people. Mocking the Salaam. Praising Jesus Christ etc. It was obvious that Conor was trying to make it a Islam vs Western world thing. And in any case, it was obvious to anybody following the buildup that Khabib was representing religiosity, humbleness, spirituality, and Conor was representing materialism, arrogance, secularism etc. Dont forgot conor is the same guy that used to call himself god and said he would whoop gods ass and Jesus too. If all of this has gone past you then you need to pay more attention..

He talked openly about believing in one God in front of millions of non-Muslims where previous Muslims had never brought up religion. This man has encouraged young Muslims to treat their parents better. He showed disgust to alcohol, partying and even music and movies and inspired young people like me to strive for betterment. This isn't something you'll get out of an India vs Pakistan match. This guy is showing Muslim kids who idealised wrong things that you can be a good practicing Muslim and also have success and starpower, you don't need to sell your soul (show off culture of social media) to achieve greatness.

Allah (swt) looks for excuses to forgive. Humans look for excuses to condemn. Brother Khabib has many great qualities.

People like you are the problem in our deen, rather then highlighting all the good someone has done, u choose to focus on the bad. Like how a fly seeks out sh*t and wounds, same way people like you are attracted to exposing someone’s flaws. May god forgive you.
