Holeshot! Very Trick KTM Dragbike in Action! Inside Look at Unique Motorcycle 

We've been doing this for years. We have 450's running in the low 6's in the 1/8th, and 250 two strokes in the 7's in the 1/8th. This bike he's on is a turtle.

I'd love to see it be a new drag class!

I want to see more of this kind of thing !!! It combines 2 of my favorite things ! I'd love to see a worked 1985 CR500 with an extended swingarm running drag slicks Just to see what kind of times it would get.. The 85 CR500 is known for being one of the quickest production MX bikes ever... Great video...

Its good to see the dirtbike drag bikes again after 30 plus years. CR 500's were the drag bikes out in Ontario,ca street races back in the late 80' early 90's on nitrus. Dirtbike magazine had a stock 85 CR 500 in the high 12 second range on a street tire back then.

Hey Jack, these KTM drag bikes are pretty slick! I gotta get my 540 to the track and see what it will do.

8.6 on the stopwatch going by sound but the speed of sound takes .588 seconds to get from the finish to the start and he presumably lift just barely after the 1/8 so I would say 7.90 on this bike.

I used to do a lot of dirt drag racing throughout North Carolina. Most of the guys I raced with all went in the streets out in the country or run them at Piedmont Dragway in North Carolina. Still got my bike and it by no means is it stock. The newer four stroke technology, displacement and ability to buy exotic parts have all but put two stroke bikes (except banshees which after spending tremendous amounts of money are still competitive at the highest level) out of business as far a being competitive on a high level.

If you don’t mind me asking I’m be drag raceing a 2007 ktm 250 xcw with a 300 big bore kit on a mini bike I have some questions cause I’m new on the 2 stroke raceing.

And i was told light was the fastest thing in the universe

Alot of money just to go straight really fast but I guess if you live life a quarter a mile at a time it's not bad

KTM is now the best bike out there .They are still rare to see.
