Holographic Images You Can Print THE MOVIE. This was sick man! This must have taken lots and lots of hours, great job!

@@sam-beige Also I got mindblown by showcasing the cards by throwing them down the stairs. That's so creative. I really appreciate the cinematography and smart storytelling. Especially when you sat at the computer and instead of telling you just told the story with facial expression. I'm a big nerd when it comes to this haha

Aw thanks so much!! Yeah the stair sequence was really fun to create. And definitely hoping to continue to do more storytelling like that!

This video was unreal. I wanted to learn about lenticular printing, and instead ended up watching a cinematic masterpiece. Thrilling watch from start to finish.

And another thing: You have no idea how inspiring your channel is for me. It rekindles a childlike joy of experimenting and trying things out in me. As a child and teenager, I (like you) melted and manipulated Polaroids just to see the effects. I spent entire summers building the "perfect soapbox car" and scavenging junk dealers and bulk trash, crafting 3D pop-up cards, trying to recreate PEZ dispensers in large scale (which failed ;), designing furniture from discarded materials, and so on. I even planned a stop motion movie with Barbie dolls. Finding your channel was like a Christmas gift to me, and it motivates me to awaken my "inner child." It's never too late for that ;) THANK YOU!

That is so amazing, you made my day!! I have always loved doing projects like that, and this channel was definitely a realization that maybe there are other people out there who would enjoy my silly ideas haha. I think the RU-vid algorithm is still trying to figure out my channel and I’ll probably start focusing in on one specific niche (at least for now so I can focus on growing and making videos). But long term I love the idea of continuing to do those experimental and creative projects!

Hopefully, the RU-vid algorithm will boost you. Even though I've subscribed, I don't get notifications for your new content. Please keep it up, don't get discouraged - time will work in your favor ;)

Love your lenticular series :) Can you please share a guide or resource on how to make a lenticular from a single image?
@sam-beige
@sam-beige 2 месяца назад
Thank you so much! Yeah these were my main two resources I used to first create a depth map for the painting in photoshop: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JvJkEg5BT9E.html And then add the layers to 3DMasterKit using this guide: triaxes.com/articles/2d-3d-conversion/ Unfortunately there was still a lot of trial and error I had to do, that I decided to leave out for the sake of the time. But if you already know how to make lenticular prints, it's just a matter of cleaning up the depth map and getting the layers situated in a way that looks best. Let me know if you have any questions!

Great video I love how you throw the pictures up in the air to show them and a idea I came up with that if you want could do is either try making like Gordon Ramsay dishes or make a little farm. Anyways great video 10/10

There used to be a company called rabbitholes that printed real holograms using integral holography. But I've always wondered if a high lpi lenticular or microlens array film could enulate it
@tutacat

Just because a program looks old doesn't mean it's actually old, it just depends on what GUI library they are using.
@tutacat
@tutacat 3 месяца назад
To optimise your 3d rendering, make sure you are using GPU, reduce the samples, and use a better denoising algorithm. Alternatively you can use high quality raster rendering instead so it doesn't take so long, but simulated lighting shaders might not be as good as path tracing + global illumination

What software is this to create the holographic image sing just one single picture? By the way great video!
@sam-beige
@sam-beige 3 месяца назад
Thanks!! The process for the single picture was also made using the software 3DMasterkit. You have to combine the image with a depth map so that the software can convert it into a 3D image

I would rather let my eyes have temporal blurring internally, rather than have some software copy the light between frames.

Be real, did u really got logic behind it, or was it trial and error again? If so, why can't u scale it up? It's totally possible, my fam owns an artwork that works with that effect and is at least A1 or A0 big and works from only a few cm of distance. But I understand how frustrating such a project is, keep it up! :D
@sam-beige
@sam-beige 3 месяца назад
Good question! Yeah I didn’t really go into details on what those months of figuring it out really looked like, but it was a lot of trial and error again. The big difference was that I eventually got to a point where I understood how to change the variables to get different results, as opposed to the first video where I could only make one type of print. As for the size, besides my budget being a limiting factor, I was trying to save time and money by doing it all on my home printer. Hope that helps!
