I’ve been looking for a good review of these red dots. Yours was by far the best. No one else bothered to show them side by side or compare the glass like you did. The eps carry is the one I’m getting now. Thanks!

One of the best parts of this optic is the rear sight notch that helps with finding the dot if your new to shooting pistol dots.

Another awesome video! Thank you for putting so much time in to bring quality content. Have you noticed any issues when backlit? I have the 515 and I’ve noticed in some lighting conditions I get a red “smudge” across the top (I have never had that with my 507C or 507K)

Hey I appreciate you! I have not had any issues with washout, but I think most red dots are gonna have some amount of dot sprawl if you point them towards extremely bright light or direct sunlight, but I’ve had no issues with the eps being too bad about it

1:58 - THIS is the money shot. Distortion comparison on video, with clear demonstration. That EPS Carry is "clear", but 507k is "wobbly". This is parallax too.

@TNRay well compared to the 507ks I have, the window is much clearer, I dint notice any difference with solar back up yet, easy to mount, however being that it's mounted on an fn ccedge I needed a special plate. Other then that the reticle is clear east to use buttons.

Purple loctite is what I recommend

I don’t know that purple is strong enough for the amount of force generated by the slide reciprocating thousands of times. I’ve always used blue and never had an optic come loose, and never had issues removing an optic when need be.
