Nice vid man! Your last few have been amazing for my play! The details about how Glimmer works to spread damage reduction is like a forehead slapper, LOL and now Im free to DPS much more! In my regular group tonight my tank stopped to compliment my healing and reduced mana usage! Keep the coming!

Hey man great video! So on your higher keys are you tending to run 1 dps trink? and if so what is the trink combo you have liked the most so far? Currently I run censaur and sea star until I get a hero or myth pips

Hello! I cannot for the life of me get a dps trinket to drop :( big sad. I am using Censaur Blood and Tyrstone as those are the best options I have gotten my hand on so far. Crossing my fingers that I’ll get Augury this week as that’s the one I am most excited about trying out.

I haven't run any PvP this tier at all on any toon. I did PvP back in wrath and boooooyyy was that fun. Got any suggestions for talents?

Got the Tyrs Hammer 483 in my vault. I understand the synergies in the talent tree with using shieldbof righteousness. Do you think it would be viable at all to use the 2H instead?

Hello! Only problem with that is you won’t be able to use shield of the righteous for holy power dumping. Generally I would recommend using a 1 handed weapon and shield as you will be able to utilize your kit and talent tree to the fullest. The shield does help with survivability as another small added benefit

@@mulletman012 I think it would have more value there for sure, but I would still recommend a shield and one hander. Is that the 2 hander that has some specific procs that can only occur in certain dungeons? Does the proc reduce the other main and secondary stats compared to like item level 2 handers? I want to make sure you are not losing out on stats for a proc that doesn’t benefit you very often.

@@ValiathGaming Yes it is the 2H with the ulduar related proc. Secondary stats dont appear to be hindered by the proc effect. I honestly just wanted to use it because it looks really cool and is higher ilvl than my shield and 1H.

I use golden path so when I judge and it drops consecrate, I can use consecrate again for double healing. Don't know why people don't spec into that but it makes me more confident in my rotation with that fast hots

Yes! It is not the strongest heal in the world, but it does help out some. Not to mention the damage it does :)

I was spec with golden path but it never showed up on heal meters (total heal % was very low compared to all other heals).

@@marcusmannrich2482 hello! Yeah the healing from that will be quite low compared to all of your other heals. It not meant to be a ton, just an added benefit of consecration, even if it is a small one.

I am rethinking my approach to holy pally all together. I am awful at dps with a hpal (like 12k dps in mythics on a good day). I don't ever feel comfortable enough using a cd like DT or Daybreak on dps when the pug Im in could need massive heals at any second. I hover around m+ 17-20 and I do get comments about how low my dps is, which seems weird to me. Between healing, this new dps strategy (which is great advice and I will be using it), kicking and CC, dispelling, doling out bop and sac, and dealing with affixes, I feel like my brain is gonna melt.

Hello! Yeah we have a lot of buttons to press and it can easily get overwhelming. The key range you are running is unfortunately probably the hardest to do. Generally people don’t use their defensives properly, don’t interrupt and CC enemies, are overconfident in their own abilities, aaaaaand think it’s the healers job to do everything. Do not beat yourself up about your DPS, anyone complaining about it invited DPS players that can’t do their job properly and need to complain about something, and we are usually the recipient. Keep practicing and finding pockets where you are comfortable refocusing your approach :)

Hello! Like everything else we do, holy shock has the strongest DPS potential so keep pumping those into the target. Use shield of the righteous when you have 1-2 stacks of dawn, judgement on CD (or hold if you are only a few stacks away from an awakening proc), holy prism, then crusader strike. During all this make sure you have consecration down as well. Use blessing of summer on the highest dps player in your group that is NOT a pet class. Hope that helps :)

Holy paladin’s are not really melee healers. The talents that are built to help us heal while doing damage are useless or not worth taking. You talked about consecration and how you should put it down when the groups not really moving but the group is always moving. You talked about using a two-handed weapon but then you can’t use shield of the righteous so what’s the point because then you have to much down time when it comes to dps. They have tried to make holy paladins something they are not and that’s not melee heelers if they are going to continue to try and split it evenly between dungeons and raids then they need to figure out a better way to do it because one or the other feels like crap if your good in raids your bad in dungeons

Hello! Holy Paladins are, and will always be a melee healer, not sure what else to say to that. Doing damage has been part of our class for as long as I can remember. That means putting down consecration on groups when you can. Not sure what groups or keys you do that have tanks that never stand still, if that’s the case you are doing it wrong. Never said to use a 2 handed weapon, not sure why anyone would.
