I am so glad you reacted to this collaboration between Home Free & The Oakridge Boys. "Elvira" was a huge hit for The Oakridge Boys in 1981. You can see the great respect these 2 groups have for each other. The Oakridge Boys are mentors to Home Free & it is like they are passing the baton to a newer version of themselves. They have performed together on the Grand Ole Opry. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is the best in the business. He can simulate drums & any other sounds perfectly. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group. They are so talented yet very humble guys.

The Oak Ridge Boys are country legends and the level of respect between them and Home Free is awesome. HF is always respectful of the legendary artists they've performed with and they have performed with many. This is so much fun. The Oak Ridge Boys were the original artists of this song.

They have done European tours, and will do so again. Hopefully world tours will return very soon.

Home Free has done three European Tours (The last interrupted in the middle in 2020). I would expect more in the future.

yeah this video is about 8 years old now...but they collabed again with the Oak Ridge Boys again in 2020 on a Christmas special they streamed online ! I will recommened again "BROTHERS IN ARMS" please, please react to that one.

They did do a European tour but it was canceled halfway through because of the Covid Lockdown, They hope to do it again, but I don't think anything is scheduled. The Oak Ridge Boys was a classic country quartet that started in the 1950s-1960s. Elvira was one of their hits. They have been mentoring the Home Free boys and there is a lot of love between the two groups.

The song was originally written way back in 1966. The Oakridge boys had a big hit with it back in 1981. I saw Home Free live a few months ago for the first time and it was SO GOOD! Their catalog is huge with many, many outstanding songs. 50% Pop/Classic, 30% Country, 15% Inspiring, 5% Goofy Fun, 200% Entertaining, 100% Humble.

You can google the sing off season 4 episodes to see all of their performances from that too. They actually won it that year.

So pleased you loved that - The Oak Ridge Boys were the original singers of this (decades ago!) and I've loved them since the 80s when I found them... then they teamed up with Home Free and the result was flipping brilliant. For something different, try Home Free's Love Train - it's not particularly country, more 70s disco style, and it's dead cool

Yes, the Oak Ridge Boys (they're from Oak Ridge, Tennessee USA) are country/gospel & were formed in the 1940s so, of course, there have been many changes over the decades but the current guys have been together for a long time! Home Free is so respectful of all the older artists when they collaborate & give them the "spotlight", but everybody seems to have such a fun time working together! Two months after this video was put on RU-vid by Home Free, The Oak Ridge Boys were inducted into the "Country Music Hall of Fame"! 🤔I don't believe in "coincidence"! You guys are so adorable! I'm a year old Home Fry but got my first glimpse of them in 2013 and knew they were something special. So glad they are still around and creating new music for us every month. The Oak Ridge Boys are the originators of the song and one of their biggest hits so having Home.Free collaborate was a great honor. Home Free very much looks up to the Oak Ridge Boys.

Austin brown is Home Free’s high tenor. He has solo stuff on his channel. Tim Foust the bass singer also has solo stuff on his own channel but you will find more stuff from their live shows and other gigs that were posted by fans by just searching their names.

I'm crazy about all their videos. All the serious ones and all the fun ones (all the solo leads and group leads) are equally great. It is nice that they mix it up, because you don't know what you'll get with every new release. WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMEN was a quarentine release, which means every member recorded his part from home or studio nearby. They released really creative videos during lockdown. The sound didn't suffer though.

They do Worldwide tours so you never know where they will be. The Oak Ridge Boys are an older school country group..most famous in the late 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Legends of their particular craft. Neither of you talk too much and you do just fine. Elvira was performed by the Oak Ridge Boys first. Home Free covered it. Maybe you are ready for something a little more comedic. When this song was popular on the radio, I knew a lady with a tiny little boy who went around singing, " 'Vira, 'Vira." The older gentlemen were the people who originally sang the song. Very famous in their day. Home Free has also combined with Don McClain to sing his American Pie.

I’m going to see them live for the second time April 23rd in Canada here, when they come near you, their tickets are very reasonable, and their shows are amazing. They sound just as good live. They tour most of Europe, Britain, Australia, Canada and the US. I can’t recommend seeing them live highly enough. :). Talking about Europe... They were in the middle of their Europe tour when covid happened. There's a video of how tense it became not knowing if they should continue the tour because countries were going on lockdowns. When Trump decided to shut the borders, Home Free, family and crews immediately took the first flight home. One day, they will go back and continue their Europe tour.

They tour Europe regularly stay tuned.
