As individual singers, they are among the best. But, as a whole acapella group, they're just about untouchable! They can sing numerous genre's of music, with each one being an instant classic!
The thing that gets me about Home Free beside the insane talent is that they sing these covers with nothing but their voices and even though I know that I sometimes forget because their talent and the excellent way the arrangements are put together make it sound so complete and full of depth. If I were a music artist and heard that Home Free was doing a cover of one of my songs I would think well shit that is their song now
Those instant goosebumps are always a good sign. Hillbilly Bone is a fun one that will make you want to move and it gives a good dose of Tim's deep voice. I think you will love it.
You have FIVE SOLO QUALITY SINGERS IN A BAND THAT CAN WOW YOU WITH SO MUCH DIVERSE SKILLS IN RANGE, TONAL QUALITY & CHOPS TO SELL THE LYRIC ..... you cannot find their equal in any age or stage ..... Just PHENOMENAL !!! GBjj
Yep!!! You're right!!! But Girl, where are your headphones????? Missing so much.... it's better than what you heard. I request ya at least go back and listen, it's more full and richer than ya ever thought!
Thanks so much! Loved watching your face full of pure raw emotion. Thanks so much! Our fav, Home Free. hey rarely miss when they do an original or a cover! Keep them coming.
One thing to me thats amazing is the the guy that does their beat box. he sounds like a real set of drums. they do a song called How Great Thou Are.. it will bring tears to your eyes.love you videos, and too iam a huge fan of Home Free. ive seen them live
Hey, Sushi!! Thanks for putting your reactions out here. I really enjoy watching them! If you want to hear some really powerful bass from Tim and outstanding vocal effects from this group then you should try reacting to their version of "Do You Hear What I Hear". It is past the Christmas Season but their version just demonstrates the tremendous talent these guys have. As usual, make sure you wear good headphones when you listen (even if you don't do a reaction) and don't miss the intro lines. Pretty awesome.
I love Boyz to Men as well, and this is one of my favorite songs. I have to say though, this guy (I don't know his name) has one of the most exquisite baritone voices I have ever heard.
Sushi you're now obsessed with Home Free and only became acquainted with Kenny Rogers after his death. May I suggest their song together ""Children Go Were I Send Thee" Just may be another win-win for you. Stay well, stay blessed
It's very rare when somebody does a cover of a song that's better than the original. But I think we both agree that Home Free performs this song better than anybody.
??? are you kidding me? Have you even seen Boys2men do this live? And with Brian Mckinght? Unmatched Vocal wizardry, dude! I love Homefree theyn are great. Go listen to the group "Take 6 " (7 part harmonies doing R&B and Jazz covers)
Sushi, if you're going to keep reacting to acapella groups like Home Free, you need to get a decent pair of headphones! You're missing so much musical nuance, especially with Home Free whose complex harmonies are utterly amazing. Don't take my word for it, though, check out another reactor I follow who filmed her first time listening to Home Free with headphones: "Right away this is an entirely different experience," "I'm hearing things that I never heard," "This is so different than hearing it with my computer, I don't know... wow!" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WG66EacN6VE.html
I noticed your face when Tim came in with that bass. If you like that, check out he and Peter Hollens doing Misty Mountains. Loved your reaction, ma'am
"One Last TIme" by Dusty Drake. It might be the saddest song ever recorded. But in light of Kobe's passing, it seems fitting now. Love your reactions! Keep them coming.
Their most fun songs are the Butts Remix, Hillbilly Bone, Feelin it, and My Church. All their vocals are great!!!!...... but if you want your mind blown, try Helplessly Hoping, Auld Lang Syne, Oh Holy Night, and I Can’t Out Run You!!!!! These ones kill me and I listen to them over and over.... vocal perfection!!!! I also love Good Old Country Harmony... written by Tim Foust, the bass
I know I'm late here. However, I just want to put in a thought: Home Free are a band/group of the 21st century. Boys 2 Men were very much a band from the end of the 20th century. That we today feel that Home free makes this song "better" is at least in part driven by the fact that we all are living in this time now. HF simply do the more contemporary version and as contemporary people we tend to like that better. Speaking as someone who is (judging by the looks) at least twice as old as you. And I remember thinking, feeling and living very differently then - not just because of personal circumstances but because the culture around me was very different than it is today.
