Love Home Free . I am a proud Home Fries which is a the name we fans call ours selves. Because of the show The Sing Off. Which Home Free won the years after Pentatonix. Shawn from Boy II Men was a judge on the show so they know him too. Home Free style of music is really Country and as I'm a fan of that too.
Yes, they are the best!! Also, they can sing anything, and if so desired, HF is able to completely change the style of any song so that it could fit in any completely different genre or style🤘🏽🔥
🤣🤣🤣 I love your reaction! Home Free is my favorite a cappella group! When you gave that “What???” look at the beginning I knew you were going to love the end! I warn you, if you keep reacting to these guys, the Home Fries (Home Free fans) will start showing up in droves! I always suggest starting with their live performances on “The Sing Off “ in order to learn more about them. Season 4, with intros and judge comments (mrduckbear11 here on RU-vid has them all in the best quality I can find and doesn’t seem to mind people using them). It’s all live and some are really funny!

The same ( mrduckbear11) has the performances of Pentatonix from the Sing Off also, and that tells you a bit about them. Both groups have really grown in the last 7 years are so. Pentatonix also has a documentary called On My Way Home on Netflix.
Being a pentaholic automatically leads to be a home fry. Welcome here although. They have a lot of similarities. And a gorgeous sence of humor. I suggest "my church" which is beautiful or "all about the bass" or "butt remix" which are fun.

I'm soft on high tenors, and he's such a teddy bear, so I loved him from the start. But when our boys released this one, Mr. Rob showed me something I never knew he had. I hope B2M have seen and heard this, because Home Free did them proud. You are so right that music has no color!

They have an uncanny ability to find the essence of a song and make it their own while respecting and maintaining the integrity of the original. Its hard to remember these guys are a capella. You haven't come close to the full extent of their bassman Tim Foust's room rattling range (serious subwoofer ear candy!) or the beat boxer Adam Rupp's jaw dropping talent. Thanks for turning me on to Home Free. I've loved Boyz2men since they came out. And I'm a big fan of great harmony groups like B2M, Take 6 and Pentatonix. Do you know Take 6? Their biggest hit from their debut album was "Spread Love", but i also loved "Get Away, Jordan" and "David and Goliath".
I look for your reactions as I enjoy them more than anyone. You are REAL and you are listening to the same higher power. I love that you love Home Free.
Congrats on discovering these guys. You've in for a wild ride. I am totally convinced that these guys can do ANYTHING. When they were on the Sing-off(a competition for a Cappella), one of the judges, Shawn, said about Austin "The boy's got chops. The boy can blow." If you get a chance, watch the segments they did on that show.
The one thing I will say about HF is do not put them in a box, if you explore them completely you will find a versaility that few artists have...they nailed this R & B classic we all agree but they also nail How great thou art, man of constant sorrow, My church, and tons of others across numerous genres....enjoy the journey!
They're terrific! I'm not crazy about country in general, but these guys take it to a whole other level. I'd recommend "A Man of Constant Sorrow" and their version of Ring of Fire, featuring Avi Kaplan: my 2 favorites :)

I had a laugh over that reaction to Tim's deep bass. That lil diddy barely scratches the surface of what he can do. This group is on Pentatonix's level, no doubt. They have been touring and performing for years. That's why they are so well-knit. They are a rabbit hole worth following. Lol.

These guys are gifted and talented, for sure. And, clearly, they work hard on those tight harmonies. But they have the support of high-quality production that shows them off well. I don't know but I'm betting that their live shows have that too.
The guy on the right, Austin, used to sing on cruise ships and when the other 4 appeared on the same ship as a featured act they all met and became Home Free.
I like them! They were touring. Then they entered the Sing Off contest. They were able to take the judges criticism and advise and apply it. I could see how they improved in some areas and.. well tried to go outside the box ... and decided they prefer staying inside, especially when it came to dancing. 😂

I have been a fan of acapela music beginning barbershop quartets and great harmonies in general and I can't remember when a group has gotten my attention so overwhelmingly and I am not the only one, it is very possible that this is best beat boxing I personally have ever heard and the blends of the voices add their versatility and they are becoming musical and internet sensations.
