I went to one of the Australian shows in January. I thought I was having palpitations (never heard them live before). My chest was literally thumping. The person next to me explained we were all experiencing the chest thumping. Was an amazing show.
Looking for bass....try their version of Do You Hear What I Hear. Tim starts of in an upper registry the drops the floor later. You'll be amazed at this version. Although it's not the holidays but we'll worth it. Give it a try.
i dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
@Jesiah Tony i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Brad this is what I call a masterpiece.....welcome to being a Home Fry....you GOTTA go see them in person when they start touring again....you're mind will be blown
You’re on your way to being a Home Fry! For pure harmony listen to “Home Frees “Seven Bridges Road”, Auld Lang Sind”, “How Great Thou Art”. So many more. HF can double up on parts; Tim & Adam Chance can both sing bass; Rob & Austin sing tenor; Adam Rupp beat boxes & sings in several songs as well! Also try “Man on Constant Sorrow” & “End of the Road” to get view of their diverse abilities! Nice Reaction! ENJOY!!
Short, but sweet. Those harmonies sound like a lonely organ in a dark empty church playing if you visualize it. The beatboxer was singing here too, he has a tenor voice.
This song has me from the first line, to that seamless unison, the tight high harmonies, then the full group... the whole thing is breathtaking! Thank you for taking my suggestion!
Rob is your tenor and Austin is the high tenor. They have old videos out with "introductions". If Tim was shaking you here, you don't want to go to a show. He does tends to do that a lot. LOL Thank you! ^_^
I remember the 1st time I heard Home Free. I was walking through my daughter's house and heard them singing In The Blood. It stopped me in my tracks and I HAD to find out who they were. Now I'm hooked but happy about it. Such talent!!! Have your reacted to In the Blood? I will follow all your Home Free reactions. Thank you for reacting to such a talented group. Love it!
Thank you, great to see you enjoying Home Free. You're not wrong, the range these guys have is incredible, they have certain roles in theory, but in practice it's all about what works best for that particular song. I look forward to more reactions from you.
Love Home Free, glad you have found the world of Home Fries. Try their cover "Your Man" - you will see some of Tim's range. Vote for Misty Mtn, as well. Thanks for the reactions, you WILL be a Home Fry if you keep listening to them. Agree about watching Sing Off with them.
Hi, new subscriber here! Thank you for giving wonderful reactions and yes I am one of the ones who found you while you were reacting to Home Free! My 2 favorite bands are Home Free and Pentatonix. I also enjoy a local band called My Brothers Keeper. I think you would enjoy the Home Free cover of How Great Thou Art! Keep up the good work and stay healthy, remember to wash your hands and stay at home as much as possible! God Bless!
The Bass's name is Tim, I am willing to bet that he is better than any other bass you've ever heard. Also, the high Tenor is Austin, he may be one of the best High Tenors you've ever heard! Welcome to the Home Frie club! Stick with us and our recommendations, you'll truly find out why we're so obsessed!
Yup.. Haunting is the exact word! Glad you enjoyed this one. I was so excited when I heard they had released this one... I loved the CSNY original, but this one has them beat, I think!
Nice reaction to one of my favorites from Home Free. I know you love Tim's bass notes. Even though it is not the holiday would you please react to "Do You Hear What I Hear". You will love Tims bass in this one. And super arrangement by Adam Rupp the beatboxer !!!
Suggestion, Home Free's wonderful collaboration with Kenny Rogers, who just passed away: "Children, Go Where I Send Thee". Thank you for your reactions!
This is one of my favorites covers, ever! Love the video, like you said, monochromatic background! It’s awesome!! Loved your reaction when Tim came in with the jaw-dropping bass! I’ll let you catch up with some of your other Home Free suggestions. I think I may have already contributed to that. ☺️
Yea they do jump up in the soprano range a lot, sometimes as high as I get., and I am borderline opera soprano. I think the mold was supposed to have been broken, but it didn't happen, so instead of one super talented guy, we got 5 ( 6 with Chris, the previous baritone, and Adam Rupp's brother. ) Don't know how that's fair :P but I love them!
New subscriber here! Some other great songs full of amazing harmonies covered by Home Free are I Can't Outrun You, Auld Lang Syne, How Great Thou Art, Amazing Grace (with Peter Hollens), Go Rest High On That Mountain (in most if not all of these, Adam Rupp - the beatboxer, is actually singing. Also check out some of his beatboxing solos filmed during their live concerts - his talent as a beatboxer is almost unbelievable!! Thanks for the Home Free reactions! Looking forward to more!! PS - You have an amazing voice as well!
Hey, I think it’s awesome that you have a bunch of Home Free requests. If you ever run low, let us know. In the meantime, if you just do 1/week, with 52 weeks/year- plenty of time! :) And lots for us to look forward to!
I suggest It Looks Good or Go Rest High on That Mountain but the Church Sessions from the Country Rebel channel. It was live and it is always nice to see what they can do without the studio tecnologies. Spoiler alert: they are even better.
May I suggest Josh Groban and Ladysmith Black Mambaso "Weeping". I have a vested interest, as a South African and who's husband grew up in Ladysmith and those amazing men are a national treasure of South Africa. 😊🇿🇦
If you want to hear another one has really good harmonies is "I can't outrun you" but if you are curious about how high Tim the base can go listen to "mayday"😁❣️🔥
I may have missed it, but you don't seem to have any Chris Stapelton in your corral. Everyone seems to start with either his cover of "Tennessee Whiskey" or his collaboration with Justin Timberlake for "Say Something", ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8MPbR6Cbwi4.html
You see, Adam the beatboxer sings too. Nice reaction again. You should take a look at Rockapella, an older a cappella group. Rockapella has a lot of energy for a bunch of old guys. Their original "I'm in Luv W U" is worth watching. ... Guy
For some crazy bass try Down to the Honky Tonk. They haven't done an official video but I caught it live last summer the first time they ever performed it. DUDE! Tim's bass is just ridiculous. Look for it on my channel, you won't be sorry.
Please react to Girl Named Tom’s version of this from The Voice 2021. They won! They also have a number of faith-based songs on RU-vid which you’ll enjoy.
Please take a run through the Sing Off season 4 with the intros and judges remarks as it will give you more inf as to how they started and the beginning of their journey. Thanks!!!
Passing through I said in a comment when u did home free. You did another! And its a goodie! Therefore I sub's ribbed. Please do more home free. If I may request. I'd like to see a reaction to home frees version of try everything by shakira . but many good songs they do. I'd like to see you do all .I know not possible. But us home fries know how to lead you through this jungle of great music they do. OK. Thanks for lending an ear to this group and to you're base that asks for home free.
Something different from Home Free, “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables. They used to sing this in their concerts to give Adam a break after his beat box solo. Austin, the high tenor, sings the lead. He is trained in classical and musical theater and worked very hard to lose his southern Georgia accent. Tim, the bass man, said, “that all went out the window when he joined Home Free. I think you will be, pleasantly, surprised! This a link to a live show. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FAarrEj4or.html 8
I wish reactors would compare the cover to the original. I never heard of this song so I dont know what it should sound like. Most just evaluate the new arrangements on its own merit.
