When the Doobies recorded this, they played 5 guitars and two drummers, yet Adam and the guys just did it all with their voices. What amazing talent!

I really like that they're bringing Adam more into the foreground. Every single one of them makes a huge contribution to the overall sound and he deserves his fair share of the credit. Always loved this song and this is a perfect summer bop. Really hope I get to see them perform it live one day!

Adam Rupp really outdid himself in this one, but everything he did fit this song perfectly, and helped make this song outstanding. The guys really made this a classic... again.

I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds.

Adam's out of this world vocal range made this song! The high notes in the bridge and all the "extra" little notes he pulled off were amazing! HF as a group have 4 lead singers with a sprinkling of instrument sounds and an insanely talented beat boxer! In addition to his beat boxing he has a smooth tenor voice! Crazy talented guys!

This is fantastic!!! Home Free doesn't do covers, they do upgrades!!!! I graduated in 1971 from high school & my brother graduated in 1961. So I heard a lot of classic rock, county, 50's. This is one you want to listen over, over & over again. So proud to be a "home Fry".

Yeah this has become my newest favorite release by this amazing group. Love Adam working this hard as I think he was making so many different noises throughout this song, as only our Adam can. Don't know if you noticed, but during the interlude where the percussion dropped out, Rupp was doing the falsetto backing vocal. COOL.

That's what makes them a "vocal band" vs just a "vocal group"!! Adam was on fire! And Tim with that walking bass... Wow!! How he's able to jump all over the scale like that is beyond me!! Love his funky bass with Adam's funky beats!! They work together so well, just like the others with that lush tight harmony! Love this! Hope you feel better soon!! ❤️

Gees, Louise. This is so awesome. My good grief. Austin's voice soared so strong he could knock drones out of the sky, and Tim's bass is unbelievable, the harmonies were as rich and tasty as a Thanksgiving dinner. And Mr. Adam Henry Rupp. He beat boxed the hell out of this song. He's always adding new and creative elements to his repertoire. And Adam's voice is way more impressive than people realize. I smiled and chair danced throughout the entire song. I just love the beautiful music and joy they bring to my life. Thanks for the wonderful reaction!

The Doobie Brothers have ALWAYS been one of my favorite bands. That said, I've first got to give kudos to Adam Rupp. Holy guacamole Adam! Just when I thought he can't get any better, once again he proves me soo wrong. Phucking phenomenal! And as for the vocals....come on! It's Home Free. What do you expect? Holy cow! Back in the day (WAY back) the Doobie's version made me smile and dance. Still smilin' with this version. Dancing? Not quite so much, unless you count chair dancing. Fabulous.

Our guys once again kicked ass and took names!!! They took an iconic song and made it their own turning it into a modern day classic. Loved the new sounds from Adam who looked like he was having so much fun in this one. Glad you're back. I looked for your reaction when this came out.

Home Free did an an amazing job with this song. I do remember listening to the Doobie Brothers and they were terrific. The HF guys just took it to another level and are tons of fun. All of them did wonderful with the song. Austin and the lead so good. Adam with the percussion...top notch. Tim, Rob and Chance you just can't beat them. Thank you.

Love seeing Adam do his kickass thing - he is so inside it. It's like watching a pro athlete at the top of his game make the impossible look natural. Total respect. Only Adam could outshine his four madly talented group mates. I like your reactions - straightforward with geuine appreciation - you listen and watch intently and react with heart. A different reactor, who had not heard much Home Free, wondered why his commenters kept calling Adam a "Freak of Nature". I think this song is the definitive answer to that question. I swear the man sounds like a synth. 🤯

I said the same thing about how happy I was to see the bandanas are back. Doobie Brothers had guitars, drums, keyboards and other instruments and HF has Adam and their voices and just blew this song away. Yes that was Adam doing the high note. I've lost count of how many times I've watched this video since Friday

Damn!! They had me on my feet dancing, scared my dog. He wont even come to me now but I'm playing it again. There are no words to describe Adam. He is off the hook. Wow! Austin's voice, the harmonies, the sound effects they are all making, this group cannot be touch, they are amazing. I need to get some headphones.

Austin, Rob, Chance, Tim and Adam! Wow! Brilliant lead, harmonies, bass and percussion. This has been stuck in my head all week. So so good. I would love an 'acoustic' rendition, with no double layering or studio echo effects. That would be brilliant! Just the party mood and their raw talent.

Another great reaction, Lyle. Sorry to hear you're dealing with the CV (explains why I'd not seen you jump on this video when it was released). Was big fan of Doobie Bros and this song waaay back in college. This Home Free version is freaking awesome! Adam's percussion is crazy perfection (and the long-ish hair with bandana! :::sigh::: ). Thank you for mentioning Chance as almost all of the reactions I've seen to this comment on everyone but him. His contribution doesn't always receive the credit it's due. He and Rob provided some wonderfully blended harmonies in this. Feel better soon!

"Listen to the Music!" Uh, Yeah, been doing just that since the original came out. Top Tier Classic! Hands down one of the finest songs ever and Home Free did it sooooo good. I'm an old fart so was around in 1972 when the Doobie Brothers released this great Feel Good song. Always been right near the top of my playlist since playlists existed in the modern context. Both versions will now be even closer to the top of my personal list.

Don't forget Austin just released Georgia on my Mind. Actually i think there's quite a lot on Austin's channel that you haven't covered - I think you'd enjoy Signed Sealed Delivered, which really shows off his amazing energy when singing. This is a fantastic track. I don't think the Doobie Brothers were very popular in the UK (we had quite a lot going on in the homegrown music scene!) because I didn't know the song, but it's shot right to the top 10 HF list for me. I actually waited to watch your reaction first, since this song means a lot to me (great memories of playing this on trumpet 🎺 in college Nebraska Cornhusker Marching Band during half time shows). I, like you, lit up when Rob took lead on the chorus...that's when everything came together perfectly for me, with his clear, bright tenor!! Great to see you! I hope you continue to get plenty of rest, and feel better soon! Home Free knows how to cover a cover, and this one was a blast! I really loved the slow start at the beginning, then the rest was as expected: Greatness! There’s so much going on here, but I love this cover as much as the original! Love the Doobie Brothers. Saw them many decades ago in New Orleans, along with The Rolling Stones, and Van Halen. This cover was a party happening and it’s always hard to sit still!

Glad you are feeling better. This really takes me back to high school! I'm not sure if you have ever done I Can't Outrun You but it's amazing and overlooked by most reactors.
