So excited to have you back doing Home Free! This song was so good, Brooke Eden was great and the boys harmonizing and Adam’s beatboxing combine for an awesome sound. Gotta love Austin’s twang! 😀❤️

This song was released by 3 different ladies in the 70s. Bette Midler in '71, on her debut album, Tanya Tucker, her very first studio record in '72 at age 13, took it to the top 10, and Helen Reddy (who was very popular at the time) took it to #1 in '73. Tanya Tucker is the artist most remembered for the song.

Those last high notes sound like Austin to me.

The Stargazer Trilogy is three songs by Austin that need to be watched in order: 1) Give Me a Sign 2) Stargazer Lilies 3) MR. They are very good and I'm sure you would enjoy them. Thanks for your reactions. I always enjoy seeing them.

Nice reaction! This is such a great song! Bette Midler did it first in 1971 but I remember Tanya Tucker & Helen Reddy's versions. The guys did a really nice job backing up Brooke Eden on this song. Love Tim's low notes & Adam's vocal percussion. They never take away from a guest vocalist but let them shine. And how cool did they all look dressed in the western theme. Reminded me of the Clint Eastwood spaghetti western movies I used to watch.

Home Free is very generous with introducing other artists to their audience. The artist was often someone who opened for them on tour, as did Brooke Eden

This is super. Sorry to say but I like this better than the original. Great sung, incredible bass, unbelievable beatboxing/vocal sounds, amazing harmonies. Each has just the right role in the song. One of the (many) things I love about Home Free is their promotion of other singers (Texas Hill, the Bass Gang, Makena Hartlin, Brooke Eden, Straight No Chaser among them). I remember this song from the early 1970s and Home Free has brought it back to life for new generations. The singing, harmonies, beatboxing & Ms. Eden are perfect. I don't think you've watched Home Free's rendition of "When a Man Loves a Woman" - spectacular.

In the original, 2 of those last chorus' were done a cappella. It was interesting hearing how an a cappella version could mimic that.

Austin goes up on the high notes at the very end. As Rob says, Austin is the "best wailer" . You can always tell his sound the longer you follow them. Great reaction. You do know your music for sure! Take care.

It’s so good. The song is 50 years old now. Brooke has a great voice. The only thing I know about her is that she was on American Idol about 10 years ago. Loved Tim’s lows and Austin’s highs and Adam killed it. You should check out their newest song Skull & Bones that Chance wrote for a game. Tim goes insanely low. Great reaction Daniel. 🤩

There are a few live videos of them singing this song in concert with various guests. You should be able to tell from that who is doing the last note. I think Austin jumped from that low note to the upper part of his range.

This just goes to show that Home Free can elevate most anything. Sorry, don't know the female singer but am having a real problem with her. You hit the nail on the head when you said nasal.

I love the snog but Brook Eden needs to learn to not shake her head like she has palsy. It is so distracting that I can barely stand to watch the video. I guess it comes with experience.
