Your “non-reaction” was perfect. You just let the song speak to you and touch your heart and that is what it was meant to do. This song and video hit home for me too because my niece is a special needs teacher and she has an autistic son. I believe Home Free and Mark Willis received multiple Telly awards for this video because of the message. Home Free is so good about doing songs with messages that need to be heard, I would suggest you react to “One Voice”. Love to your brother and thanks for a great reaction and for sharing a part of yourself. ❤️

Great reaction!!I’m so glad they did this video it’s such such a great message. Nate Simon ( boy in video ) is 20 years old and the CEO of 21 Pineapples.Him and his mother started the company because they wanted change the way others perceive people with Down Syndrome & other special abilities.All those Hawaiian Shirts he was wearing were from his company.

The young man in the video is the CEO of 21 Pineapples. The proceeds are donated and they have some really cool shirts! You gave an honest reaction and that is the most important thing. There are a number of reactors who were in tears by the end of this.

This makes me sob every time. Siblings of people with special needs are very special and you are a great big brother. My youngest (young adult now) has Down Syndrome/autism and his five siblings are wonderful with him. I’m so proud of them for speaking out when others are bullied. A few of his cousins are working with special needs people too. Beautiful cameo at the end.

I was a big Mark Wills fan back in the 90's. I just love his voice. I still have 5 of his cds including the one that he first released Don't Laugh At Me and even got his autograph on the cover. Wonderful song with a wonderful message!!

Isn’t this beautiful? I know this is an older song, but I had not heard it until Home Free did this collaboration. I agree, their storytelling here is well done and important. One of my closest friends once said “normal” is nothing but a setting on your clothes dryer. 😊 It’s so true. We are all different in our unique ways but have so much that we share. Such a really sweet song/video about a tough subject. The girl in blue is Mark’s daughter who was bullied for a time when she was younger. Loved the kids. Daniel Earnest. Play it again and listen closely to ALL the words. They go beyond the video. My cousin past away recently through surgery complications. She was 59. She had the special chromosome. ALL her life was nothing but love and happiness! I miss her so. Cherish your brother, hun. I play this over and over and cry for all the people who are misunderstood!

As a neurodivergent parent of a neurodivergent child, I've not seen the problem of bullying improve a bit in an entire generation 😢 but I wholeheartedly appreciate Mark Wills and Home Free for spotlighting the issue. This topic--and song--always make me cry...my heart hurts for our kids 💔

I love this video... Mark Wills actually released this years ago...the collaboration with Home Free was a great way to reintroduce this amazing song... Home Free is all about God Family and Country... We all have scars and trials..some show while many don't...the part about the man begging breaks my heart..I know the type of pain he's describing... Be kind when ever possible..listen even if you would rather speak...it will make a difference...a single drop can become a tsunami..one person does count...💚🙏💚... 🌿🌿🌿

Loved your reaction - no analysis needed when music touches your heart and soul! Home Free does such a good job of tackling challenging issues in a beautiful way. Love that they let Mark and the "kids" shine in this one and were just the BGVs to put a spotlight on bullying. Home Free never disappoints! I'd strongly recommend One Voice feat. Thanks for reacting to this and sharing with us about your experience growing up with a DS brother. I don't have DS, but I was bullied through elementary and junior high school (they call it middle school now), so this video hit me in a different way, too. Jenna Lee (sp?) was doing modified Sign Language. I'm sure she signed the whole song, but we only saw pieces of it.

A beautiful collaboration. Mark Wills is a great singer. And then my favorite Home Free in the background sounds fabulous. A beautiful song with a sad subject. I know what bullying is. Not by children, but by the teachers. It's so good that it's getting attention. Because bullying has to end. Think about what you're doing to someone like that. I never told anyone before. I let it go and thought I could handle it. But I developed a fear of failure and inferiority complex about it. Fortunately, I had and have very dear family and friends around me, who unconsciously dragged me through it. It was only when I was 57 years old that I went to therapy for it.

Thank you for such a wonderful reaction! I have worked in developmental disabilities for almost 25 years and I have learned more from the individuals I support then they will ever learn from me! It is the most amazing and beautiful community and I feel so blessed to have been the smallest part of it! You brother seems awesome!🤗❤️

I grew up with a brother who was severely mentally handicapped. We spent a lot of time around special kids. He passed away 4 years ago this month. This song really hits ❤

Thanks for sharing your story with us. What a beautiful soul you have and love for your brother. Both of my daughters adopted children who are autistic and it has been a challenge for our families but i couldn't love them any less than the others but it truly hurts when I've heard that they are bullied. I taught my children to be very accepting of those with special needs and they both worked in the schools that they were attending to help out in those classrooms. They both loved it and i think the experience has helped them with their own children. Love that HomeFree lend their fame and talents to help out great causes. ❤😊

Well, special needs people may not look different. I was diagnosed a few years ago that I'm autistic, I'm turning 53 next month. I was ignored during childhood at school and bullied through highschool not knowing what was wrong with me.

@carolburnett190 when I was young .. am 70 next week .. we never saw DS children. They were all put in special institutions. My daughter, a teacher and grandaughter, a nursery assistant, both had a DS pupil in their class and they were included in birthday parties etc. Nobody thought anything of it. So much improvement thro the years. Have a good weekend. X
