You probably have heard the original by John Denver. He is an OG! Sadly he is no longer with us but his music will live on in the hearts of many who grew up listening to him and all that have just discovered his music and the ones to discover him in the future.

The daughter-in-law I live with is Thai, and she makes some pretty darn good! Her Spring rolls are only outdone by her Summer rolls! Pad Thai....Curry....dumplings....GOOD STUFF! 😋 I loved this when John Denver did it, and I loved this version....especially Austin's yodeling.😍

Love this one! They’re just so goofy and I love them. Love Austin’s yodeling and the boys shenanigans. I noticed the horse checking out Tim’s c……😝! Yeah, and on a video with Peter Hollens a horse is loving Tim in the beginning (You’ve Got a Friend). This is just a fun video and the song is so good. SauceDad, There are some people that just have to complain, no matter what - whether they are having a good day or not. That's just how they are. Just say, Thank you for your suggestion - and move on. They have an unending supply of information and videos at their fingertips. And they can go elsewhere. Thank you for all the time and effort you take to put up with a world full of different kinds of people. Some of us appreciate what you do.

When you get a chance, pause the video on the screen when Austin is ordering coffee- read the sign with all the writing on it- it is hilarious! "Nothing runs like a Deere." John Denver got me through some scary Canadian back roads one spring. The washouts on the road marked with empty beer cans on sticks and us kids standing on logs across the road so the family station wagon could get over them. Fun times. Loved the camping, hate fishing.

I dunno what it is about American country music, but as a guy from England, UK I just feel _so_ drawn to it!! Maybe because it reminds me a _lot_ of Irish folk music? I mean, I believe those _were_ the roots of American country music, or so I've heard. But there's just something about it that calls to my soul. And it doesn't hurt that it instantly cheers me up on a bad day and gets me jiggling in my seat or dancing around my living room! :D This is currently my favourite cover that Home Free has done - and that's a hard choice because I love literally every song they have ever released! But this one? This one just hits me right in the happy bone 😁

I grew up with this song because my dad used to play it on eight-track. He has a wonderful tenor voice, but I never appreciated it back then. Anywho, John Denver songs rocked us to sleep, and I'm totally aging myself here, I guess. I don't care. Sally Goodin is an old fiddling song, very old/classic stuff. John Denver never really made a bad song. Grandma's Feather Bed has always been my favorite. Glad you're reacting to HF again! They made this song even better, and I LOOOOOOVE the original, so that says something. It's the yodeling for me. That's not easy, but Austin can pretty much pull off anything. They all can, can't they?

I'm old enough to remember when this song was new and I think the late, great John Denver would have approved. I always loved John Denver's song about Forest Lawn ("Take me when I'm gone to Forest Lawn") - it was a really satirical song that never got much air play, but I still love it!

Thank you Laura. My family and I are fine. Three of the nephew's came and hooked up a generator so note the house is working. Quite a few are not so lucky. We don't have a big tornados Pasadena, Tx... until now. Again thank you so much.

As for whoever complained, Saucey, it is not your responsibility to tell us who to support. If we can see the video to click on it, we can see the option to pay too. Of course, you can suggest it, but I don't see why you should be villainized for not saying it every time. You're bringing exposure to artists. That alone helps a lot. We're responsible for our own actions, so whatever we do after seeing an artist is on us, not you

I paused this to read the coffee descriptions . . . and they're funny as hell! If you get time, pause the video and read the coffee shop menu. I loved John Denver and I think he'd have approved of their rendition. There are only 2 reactors who have ticked me off - one of them kept toking a joint (hey, kids watch these!) and the other kept harping about Austin's accent (I dunno what his little issue is . . ). I didn't lecture, I just didn't subscribe and have never watched them again.
