We've bought a tea plant over a year ago. This spring it started to grow buds so we thought we would make some home grown tea from it!
Step 1: Picking
Step 2: Drying
Step 3: Rolling
Step 4: Drying
Step 5: Baking
Then we let the tea sit for a couple of days.
The tea was now ready to drink.
Take a look at the business that sells this tea at www.teabyme.eu/ (this video is not sponsored by them)
And as always, our website full of tea and teaware is leaveswithhugs....
Hugs!

Hey. Greetings from CA, USA. Just noticed that your plant is a little iron deficient. Make sure to pick fertilizers with that in it. Good video!

I am a bit perplexed, but I would definitely drink a cup of it.

Hi, you missed an essential step. The tea leaves MUST be steamed after picking to lock in the flavour. THEN you dry.

Don't know if you have perfected you tea making process. I watched a video that showed after the rolling process of putting the leaves into a proofer for an hour or so to increase the process of oxidation. This will result in a slightly darker more flavorful tea leaf.

What a little oven. Is that a toaster oven? I have never seen one that small.

It tasted raw because you did not roll/ferment the leaves
