I have spent the last 20+ years in the salon industry, tech and fashion. I left the industry at some point to become a Fireman and Aux. Police Officer. I did 6 years service and resigned shortly after 9/11.

With the lockdown extended for a further 3 weeks in the uk, I’m acc excited to grow out my hair. Personally, constant skin fades actually disguise the maximum potential of your hair. That being said edging the boundaries work a treat, great video😎

Thankyou for your great videos, i have fairly short hair, but i am not confident enough to cut it apart from my fringe, but i enjoy watching how you create a style. We have been in lockdown 3 weeks in the UK, probably going into a further 3 weeks, i work at Boots Chemist so have been going in but most stores here have closed for now.. Its a.nasty virus, i hope you stay safe and well and your family too

I learnt my lesson on using cheap free hair guards with budget clippers when the guard got caught and came off when I was trimming the back.

Thanks for doing this video. I’m sure it wasn’t easy to decide what to include, since there’s so much that goes in to a technically great haircut. I have just below the shoulder hair and only trimmed my length (actually, I took about 2+ inches off for easier maintenance). Thankfully, i didn’t do that unicorn ponytail, but instead did ponytails going all around my head and did a dry cut; also left it longer than what I wanted (yay). So, I’m only uneven in 2 spots in the back! Any input on how I can fix this? oops. Anyway, now I have better scissors and also purchased texturizing shears. So, I have everything except the “know-how.” I’m determined to give myself a lob since it’s so forgiving, but I need to fix the back. Can you do a video on how to cut one’s own length non-angled all the way around? I soooooo appreciate any help you can give! TFS your talents and you rock!

"That just doesn't look right!" 😂😂😂 Yes, I've seen those mushroom fade quarantine haircuts. I just put my hair into a bun. I wouldn't attempt shaving my own head. I live alone and no one to help me. The most I would do is cut my own bangs. I just vacuum up the hairs afterwards off my bathroom floor. Great advice! Wish I saw this before.

Well during pandemic I trimmed my hair, did a body perm, trimmed my husband's hair. I bought sizzors,black cape,perm rollers,perm kit, dryer balloon thing that attached to blow dryer to dry my hair with rollers in it.Lol😅😅

i watch alot of Salon Guys tutorials, but none show how to cut mens hair that is very light hair with a balding at the crown downward. The sides and the back are most important. wish he'd come up with a tute for bald, balding, receding hair lines etc ect

I'm currently growing my hair out so I can put it in an undercut look with faded sides. Is it safe to let the hair grow without trimming? Also would it be better to get lines done on both sides so it separates the top from the sides?

Hey, I have about 6 inches of wavy hair on top with an undercut and when it dries it ends up looking like David Dobriks hair where it kind of curls upwards at the end, is there any way to make my hair go down and not curl upwards? Any tips?

You should use the hair system on a few vids and do a self cut tutorial, especially on the top Much better so we can see how to position hands etc when you do it on yourself, would help us a lot.

Hi, my hair is super thick, especially in some areas. I`ve not had a haircut almost 3 month. I`m growing it, but it is completely out of shape now. If I use thinning scissors by myself just a little bit, will I lose a length (I don`t want to) ?

Most hairdressers are starving these days because they haven't worked in months and losing their livelihoods. Why don't you suggest that people should go back to their hairdresser since salons are opening now
