All he got were grants which is unbelievable. If I were an Ivy League school, I'd give him a free ride, board, the works. If anyone deserves all that and more, its this kid.
Jose Paulo King But how many high schools are there in America, even out of country, then multiply that by how many valedictorians there are in each. Not everyone who deserves tuition money receives it, sadly.
And yet, when choosing the leader of a nation, instead of picking from the bright, talented and driven individuals such as Mr. Furlong, we are given the option of either the criminal wife of a previous president or an overbearing and equally scary rich boy. Every year, scores of brilliant graduates that have good values leave our finest institutions and they somehow never reach these pinnacles. Hunh.
After having read what his uncle said I don't know what to believe. Is this guy lying about having been in foster homes and homeless shelters? He sounds very forth right and honest. That could be an act. Or was he never homeless and lived with his uncle and fiancé? One would think that before this was posted you tube would've Validated the story.
SO IN MY 2006 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION, WHEN THESE KIDS WERE JUST KIDS, FYI. I DONT REMEMBER THERE BEING A MOMENT WHERE THE VALEDICTORIAN DECIDES TO REVEAL A SHOCKER, MAN WHATS IS GOING ON WITH THESE CLASSES ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY, THERE MAKING A FIRESTORM IN THEIR CONTROVERSIAL SPEECHES. WOW! TIME SPENT AT AN ACTUAL GRADUATION THATS ENTERTAINING, WHILE LESS BORING...PRICELESS!
The valedictorian of my class graduated with the second highest GPA only because she had more extracurricular activities, and I suspect her gender was a factor.
