Im at that age when I can watch people that look oldaf an marvel at how easy going and fun they are. Then I relize that it is because we both are the same age. thanks for upload. looks delish.
Captain Ron, Another great presentation. Thanks for taking the time and effort to write the recipes in the links; so essential in making the meal. David
$9 for a big mac now?!? Geez! I like the tarter in the special sauce, I usually use hot dog relish in mine. Same outcome, but now I'll buy tarter sauce and try! And, I love that tallow!! It helped me make literally the best potatoes I've ever had! Awesome as always, Captain McDonald!
Got to tell you, I so giggled and the lettuce church comment....these videos are entertaining and the food looks spectacular! Love seeing what you make with different recipes!
Nice video Ron, I wished someone would produce three layered buns commercially but I'm sure McD has that tied up. Miss your home made mango chutney you made for cheeseburgers. Andy
The Big Mac and McRib are my two favorites but the Big Mac has become such a disappointment because I swear that the patties used to be a little bigger than the half dollar size patties of today. Looking forward to trying this and I'll let you know if the sauce is similar.
I don't mind the half dollar size patties, cause they don't taste anything like beef. The smaller, the better. LOL I douse them in ketchup and black pepper in order to mask the flavor of the patties.
Well......the tarter is "kinda" like just mayo and sweet pickle relish, so those ingredients are in there, but there's absolutely "no" catsup in the original recipe. The pink color comes from only paprika. There's no catsup. Chef Dan Cudroue (spelling) the executive chef for McDonald's shows the recipe here on RU-vid. Mayo, sweet pickle relish, onion powder, granulated garlic, mustard, paprika, white wine vinegar.
Big Mac for the burger only is 5$. And doesn’t require cooking equipment and a backyard or ventilation system. Or managing the logistics for keeping all the toppings fresh and buying them from the store in the right portions. I live in a 200 square foot closet paying 2 grand a month in rent. Ground beef is also 10$ a pound here. No kitchen, just a microwave and mini fridge. Must be nice having a nice house and all the equipment and space.
You could just as easily do it in a fry pan on the stove. Dang, ground beef is expensive here too but not that much! Our local Fresh Market has $3.99 Chuck and Chicken Day on Tuesdays. 80/20 ground beef for $3,99/lb is a great deal. See if there is one near you.
@@FOGOcharcoal The best deal nearby for 80/20 is ironically on Amazon Fresh at about $6.99 per pound. But Amazon recently changed the delivery fee system so that option is no longer the clear winner. I also don't have any ventilation system set up in my room, and I sure as hell am not cooking out in the streets where the homeless and muggers linger. Some people are just in circumstances which are not conducive to living an open life.
but you need a lot more ingredients than ... :D and it's stupid to recreate Big Mac taste awesome every few months 😝 and don't forget good thin patty omg
