Ingredients for Pot Pie Filling:
About 2 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken or turkey
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup chopped onions
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 3/4 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup milk
2 cups frozen veggies
I doubled this recipe for 2-8in pies and 12 mini pot pies. I never measure out my chicken exactly I find that a whole chicken is more than enough for 2 pot pies.
