Every Friday I cook brunch for the girls in the house! Join me as I do a classic! Homemade corned beef hash and eggs! Thanks for watching! Cheers everyone!
I spent almost a decade working in an Irish pub. I made so much corn beef hash feom scratch I could do it in my sleep❤, and it wasn't just one type. We went through so many different recipes..
Nice thing about corned beef, if you live in a rural area like me, you can use any cut of beef. I use a dry rub and it cures in the fridge for a week. Brisket isn't always available, so i use chuck and we have corned beef any time we want!
A sorority house! I've been trying to figure out for a long time where you've been cooking. I thought it might be a church kitchen. Those are some lucky kids to have you cooking because it looks great.
Looks so good. Never made this before because I never quite knew what it was. Wouldn't mind slow cooking a piece of beef overnight and then putting this together on a weekend morning.
Good morning, Kev, and I’m just getting to this video now but once again, something that is right in my wheelhouse!! That big corn beef hash pattie looks amazing and I’m like you, I like my eggs over medium with still enough runny yoke to dunk a piece of toast in 😋
As somebody who was in a fraternity in college and had a lot of sorority girl friends and girlfriends, are they ever super picky about stuff you make? I just cant picture some sorority girls eating something like this. Looks freakin amazing though as always, Kevmo! Cheers!
God I haven’t had corned beef in ages, one of my favorite dishes from my mom. Think you’ve inspired my dinner for this week, thanks Kev! Hope you’re feeling well
I like my eggs over medium as well but I prefer to not fry the egg on the top but rather to steam cook the top and just fry the bottom. I'll hit te egg with fresh cracked pepper and a couple globs of Frank's right on the yoke. Turn the burner low and pop a cover on the pan or if on flat move the egg to a low cook spot and cover. Get you some cheese and make some frico for a hat on your eggs. I'll bust the yokes after they're plated and put that hat over top the egg and often throw it on a sandwich. Butter the toast, slap on the egg/frico with any meat, usually fried in a pan and voila! Serve with a ramekin of ketchup(I'm a Heinz guy) and if you want to level that up you slice up half an avocado, toss that on right before you serve. Once you add 3 crispy strips of bacon you are not far from perfection, though it is unattainable. Pro tip - lightly dust the outside of the toast with some cayenne pepper powder. Simple if prepped and timed right which could take a little practice but is a smash hit banger!
Hey Kev what do you think about the "hello fresh" ideas I use "every plate" and I love it. I learned a ton of new recipes and people love my shepherds pie which I didn't know what was in it until every plate lol. Keep it up Kev we all appreciate your videos
