Thought it sounded like one of those. Have a Zenoah RC430 that I’d like to “help out” in terms of a free-flowing yet quiet(er) exhaust, even if that means a muffler that’s as big as the engine proper. It’s for a portable “battery charger” that puts out ~ 58 volts or so.

Yes, the new one is louder.

Was just about to say the exact same thing.. at least the old one is chambered/deflects some of the pulses to dull the noise at idle
