MEGA, was du da gefertigt hast!
Sehr sehr sehr geil, COOLES TEIL COOLE ARBEIT.
RageForSeven hey ! i'm a metalworker but now i'm studying mechanical engineering. it's my small workshop at home in our garden ;) nearly everything i need in there :) yes it's a mini bike. i thought it would be more fun to build a small one
good luck on your studies, you seem to have the right tool to practice what you learn at university. Yes i knew it was a small bike but i didn't realise it was that small. Looks and sound great, and still totally jealous that you can take it for a ride!!! looking forward to seeing your new projects
hi there I am in the process of building a bike like this and I an having real trouble working out what gear ratio I need when using a jack shaft do you have any advice ?
+james fowler hey there! what engine do you use and how much hp does it have? and what diameter does your back tire have? do you want to know how to calculate the ratio?
Hay there I am using a 114 cc sulfolk punch lawn mower engine and the same wheels as you I just want to know what will be a good ratio to go for that will work when I come to ride it ?
+james fowler i have got 35 mm in the front then 50 mm in the middle on both ends of the shaft and then 250 mm on the back wheel. but the acceleration isn't as good as i hoped i think i change one 50 mm pulley to 150 mm.the top end is ~60 km/h or ~35 mph for my opinion a bit to much
+Quinten Henning ok cool but I am using chain and sprockets so is going to be different for me . I am just worried if I get it wrong the bike won't even move lol
with chain you loose less power than with belt...its better for ur small engines :D i dont know how much rpm your engine make but you can figure out how to get the best ratio. you have to search a ratio calculator on google...i can send you a link o a german webside but i think that doesnt help you :D
