Homemade steam boiler 

I have thought of that I've got a few oil burners sitting there as you can see in other views

If you have a really hot fire underneath you could probably hold that pressure for maybe an hour hour and a half

Please can you share what u have made. Even me am trying to make a cashewnut steam boiler at home.

My main pressure normally about 100 psi running pressure about 60 psi yeah air compressor cylinder might work long as it's got thick walls to take the heat

I've only got the video and the other one is offered in operation running a eucalyptus still

Yeah it's hard to see in video but behind pressure gauge is a safety release valve which releases pressure when it gets above 190 psi

Does it get above 190psi often?

I want to try and use it to spin a turbine for generating electricty.

Yeah doesn't go over 190 PSI often but you could make it quite easy two if you had to and I think it could spend a turbine pretty easy to generate power

It is simple to make I used LPG bottle n cut a 4 inch hole in either end for a 4 inch pipe of 4 millimetre thickness post it through the hole and welded it up and then just folded some 2 inch galvanised grommets from plumbing section in at Bunnings and welded them in the outside for the steam to come out

It can run pretty steady at that pressure for 4 hours then run out of water

Sorry I don't have any more videos at the moment but that's what I use my boiler for steam distilling eucalyptus oil hope you build one and get into it good to see how it all works

What would you like to know about it if you have fabrication skills easy to make

Yeah it is a fire tube boiler all it is is a LPG bottle with a couple of tubes going through it for the fire the tubes are steam pipe and the grommets out the top I just galvanised

I know we only get them when first starting up boiler clean up after couple minutes of running
