I'm in Australia, over here most families with children are receiving welfare payments - welfare was implemented as a right, to try to ensure that no Australian child lived in poverty. There is also a special payment if you are homeschooling due to special needs, or distance which is around $4,500 a year divided into 4 payments at the start of each term. You don't have to show what you spend it on.
God is good. Thank the Lord for the grant, what a blessing! I feel you sister, it's been a year! Financially we were doing fine until a couple months ago. God is a way maker and provider and boy did the Lord come through! My husband received a substantial raise recently, and we are back on track financially. Health wise the last year has been rough, mostly for our 7YO who was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases. I cannot complain though, God has been good through it all. Lots of prayers for your family.

Praying for you guys. Your videos are such a blessing. Such exciting news and I can’t wait to hear which curriculum you went with. I have an idea just based on the cost and info you gave. 😉 I’m glad this stress is lifted off you guys. You are going to have such an amazing year.
Whats the link for the program or help assistance?? Please can you write down or link it on the subscription transcript. I just moved to Florida and homeschool.
In this video, I got help from HSLDA, and the grant was called the compassion grant. hslda.org/explore/grants-for-homeschooling But Florida just came out with a grant for homeschoolers called the PEP, through a program called Step Up For Students. Through this same program, they also have a different grant if you have a child with special needs. You can only apply for one or the other. Just search hslda compassion grant. I'm not sure if it's just US or Canada too, but you could also just Google homeschool financial help for Canada and see if something comes up. That's how I found out about this.
