One correction on the rated specs you mention. The Honda EU2200i are 1,800 rated watts and 2,200 max watts. They do not have 2,200 rated watts as mentioned. Like the Ryobi, the Honda generator name denotes the max wattage; not the rated watts. Ryobi are 1,800 rated watts (so identical to the Honda) and 2,300 max watts (100 more than the Honda). The non-electric start Ryobi is a bit heavier than the Honda (52lbs vs 47 lbs) but Ryobi holds more fuel (1.2 gallons vs .95 gallons) and so has longer run time at 1/4 load (10hours vs. 8.1 hours). Ryobi does not list run time at rated load. Honda lists 3.2 hours of run time at rated load. Both have 3 year warranty. Ryobi does not list decibel rating on their website. Honda lists 57 dB(A) @ rated load and 48 dB(A) @ 1/4 load.

We use Hondas at my job and I can say they are quite but I've been convinced to by the Ryobi when I need one

I have 2 of the older model Ryobi 2300 gas generators and the 1800 watt battery Ryobi inverter. I have six 6ah 40v batteries and six 4ah batteries to run that thing, very expensive. I also have an assortment of 40v yard tools. We have been without power for two days now, I started with battery power to run the fridge, freezer, fans, etc. but now I am running a gas generator. This equipment is perfect for camping but sufficient for power outages here in Little Rock. I have no experience with the expensive Honda generators so I can’t compare but can say I love the Ryobi models I own.

Guys awesome just my personal opinion you guys need too make a script before going out there like make it simple but with more info. Example ok honda is better because of voltage but how v much voltage two ryobi make? Never hear that info so I don't know what to buy now. See it wouldn't take much info but with a script I know you will reach more people to help. Like I say my humble opinion hope to see more info from you guys and more brands ( even if you need to return the products after review) 😉.

If money wasn’t a issue then I’d get the battery 40 v generator. So I could keep it in the house and away from ppl stealing the generator
