I have a 98 Foreman 400fw that still has the original engine & has never left me stranded. I just bought another one cheap. I love these old Honda's 👍👍
In Canada, it's easy to find the 84 200 es (yes, I know, the was only made in 84.) I have a 200 es I got 1999, and I just recently bought an 85 250 es. I am rebuilding the 85.
The first atv I ever bought was my trusty 1984 TRX200, thing is unstoppable towed my jeep cherokee with it with no struggle at all, had it just over 2 years now and its seen every machine I have ever owned or ridden, never gonna sell it too much greatness to sell.
I had the TRX 200 when I was 14. I really do miss that lug. My Bombardier Quest 650XT was bigger, faster and all around a more advanced vehicle, but I had years of fun on my Honda. I could not kill it.
I fukn love my honda trx400ex more then anything its been through a lot from smaking into kangaroos riding through bush tracks to rolling it a million times still fires up and running like a dream Honda for life
always loved the honda atc/atv , my dad have a 1983 185s ,my uncle has 1982 big red and a 1999 fourtrax 250 almost all my familyvhas an atc/atv, love them because the simplicity , the reliability and the utility
Holy shit! The TRX 200 has the same engine and controls as an atc 200ES. It's basically a 4 wheeler in a 3 wheeler package. Hot dang! I never noticed that until you posted this video. Even the rear rack looks the exact same as the 200ES.
@@linusweber7584 If I had known this years ago I would have bought the 4 wheeler version. A guy in my village was selling one for 600$. That was 22 years ago though.
The only real difference is that the TRX200 had rear suspension and the '84 Big Red did not. Of course they both got the 250 motor and rear suspension for 1985-87.
Hi Yes, I did look into this some years back. I am currently rebuilding an 85 big red 250. I got the full plastic kit. All I need to find are the original decals.
I cant tell you how much i thrashed on a trx 125, im 14 and my friend has one reverse doesnt work, front brake flew off, no suspention, lol light doesnt work, man its fun!! Also it is a 1984 one oldie but goodie.
AtvFan 166 I owned this exact 4 wheeler when I was a kid ! Omg ! I grew up on a 84 200 high and low range ! Never even changed the oil in it all the years having it . Never once gave me a problem other than a battery ..
Ronnie Haley I'm 13 and I have a 2003 Honda TRX 90 and I ride it almost every day and my family has only changed the oil in it once and changed a spark plug once hondas are some of the best atvs you can buy
I have the '85 TRX 250, which was similar to the 200, but with new features. I bought my 85 model brand new, and it still looks great and runs perfectly, never had a single problem with it, even though it's been in use as a utility vehicle for 31 years, and is still in regular use today.
Same here but mine is the '85 TRX 250. Owned it since new and still use it regularly. Never had a problem with it. It's amazing the longevity of these old Hondas!
couldnt , to many people getting killed on them. . . . due to sharp turning at a high speed, jumping, and being stupid. bad center of gravity.... dam thing kept moving all over the place like an earthquake. so they were banned, and to keep from anyone selling the death traps. some places will allow it, but others places. . . still banned. they should have started out as 2 wheelers with the huge 3 wheeler tires on them, now that would have been fun.
