I took my 2014 cb1100 f, to the friday night bike hangout. The bike was the only ujm there. The kids didn't evan notice it. Only the older guys. Then I realized, I made it 37 years of riding hondas on the same cruise night. Total old age moment. Then all my buddies who didn't make it this far. Honda, you have made my life better. Thank you.
Me hace recordar la primera vez que vi una Honda CB1000. Tenía 10 años y quede con la boca abierta .... no podía dejar de mirarla!!!! Fue amor a primera vista.
My first bike was a 1980 CB900 Custom. In a year and half I put more than 160K miles on that bike. Yes, when you are 19, 20 yrs old you can ride all the time! Now, 40 yrs later I have the same identical bike and a 1981. LOve my Honda's more that my two HD's. "Very nice commercial." Old slogan, "You meet the nicest people on a Honda!"
I started on a 93 750 nighthawk, then got the 2014 cb1100, love it. It doesn't sing like the 750 did under load, but it fits me and my riding style perfectly... 2 up and out for s Sunday cruise, or a 5 min trip to work. *main reason for switching was to get efi so I could drive the 5 min to work without 5 min of warm up.
Honda please bring this bike to india also I am sure that it will beat hard Harley Davidson and triumph bikes. I love this bike and waiting for 4 years to come to India.
This is a heavy bike, wish it was around 120kilos lighter. Runs like a sewing machine. Great for long distant touring rides. It's ok for city riding but not very nimble. I get about 40-50 mpg not bad for an inline 4, but not great compared to the twins and doubles of the same displacement. Very smooth power delivery, very comfortable an predictable; the gears are long and you can drive in 3rd gear all day without too much shifting. This is a great second bike to add to your collection but as a main daily rider I would stick with a v twin/or double, it has that traditional motorcycle sound, vibration bottom end torque and acceleration. It just feels like a motorcycle, but it you like comfortable long distant cruising the cb1100 is perfect.
@@GPZ611 Depends on the rider. My first street bike (after my starter Honda CF250L dual sport) was a 84' Honda CB700SC Nighthawk, and that thing was tuned like a race bike with a redline that started at 11,000 RPM. The CB1100EX is a lot more bike, but it's also probably the most mellow bike you could ride in that displacement. It is a nice bike, in that the bike wants you to 'ride nice'. It does not encourage, or relish in, hooliganism. But, it is a large and heavy bike, although surprisingly nimble and easy to move when riding. Not a bike at the top of my personal recommendations for a novice rider (I'd suggest a 650-750cc range standard bike, like a Suzuki SV650 or an older Honda CB750 Nighthawk), but it's not a bike likely to surprise and bite you like any of the 600cc sport bikes can.
Bellissima moto presentata da un video assolutamente eccezionale!!!! Complimenti alla Honda che realizza, con il cuore, sogni!!!! La mia prossima moto.
Dear Honda you must bring back this motorcycle.....it's not selling as well as it ought to be is entirely because the marketing department team were doing a very very very very appalling job at selling it as a very beautiful reliable classic piece of motorcycling machine.
I cried when they discontinued them and 22 because I still want one I had a cb500 when I was growing up and it looked pretty much just like the new CB1100 call it nostalgic but I would love to have a brand new one
