+TwoWheelFury I'm not quite sure, it has the appropriate tags and was 2014's best selling bike. I'll change the thumbnail soon. Anyway thanks for your kind words.
Just bought this bike in white, great bike, and i,m only 5'3 and my feet touch the floor, so happy with that. Will still keep it when I pass my test as it,s great on petrol..Will just use my 650 cc for touring... Happy days !!!!!
I have a 2011 cbf125, I mostly ride sub 50 mph around town and it's plenty, I always beat cars at the lights, and if you have a long enough road it'll get to around 72 mph. I've had it for around 2 months and I have to admit I want something bigger but only for some more top end grunt, apart from that it's perfect.
Got one now, had one previously for two years. That was reliable, very cheap to run (but services are every 2500 miles) and never did less than 120 mpg. First two tanks while running in gave a genuine 150 mpg. Astounding. But definitely not fast.
+Gary Bruguier Services every 2,500 miles? That seems odd what was its mileage. Normally you only need a service every 8,000 miles. I would check or change the oil every 3,000-4,000 miles though. Oh no it's not fast it's a 125 but definitely beats most cars off the line.
Thats the Honda recommended service interval. There is no oil filter just a gauze screen below the clutch. I did 14000 miles in under two years. I have swapped fast for economical. Works for me at the moment or until i win the Lottery.
i'm driving this bike (the 2006 model) for my test drives and license...and it's simple nice, it's very good for it's price and specifications...i like it! maybe i'm buying one in the future when i'll get my license
I prefer analog, I just feel I can trust physical moving parts than something on a screen, so what the digitals may be more accurate, but it makes no real difference that it's so minor
+MTP Desantos123 Not necessarily. In terms of bike digital displays they seem to jump as they struggle to keep up with the actual speed. They are quicker to read imo.
These are fantastic 125cc learner legal bikes. Great for starting out. We use a fleet of them for our CBT Centre in Manchester. There is one thing that could be improved and that is the centre stand pummel which is very weak and does snap off easily compared to the Honda CG125cc. Other than that they are great.
Back in the day we would have called that a good "pie and chips " bike. In other words, a nice, inexpensive commuter ( although I bet it's still fun to wring it's neck, lol). With that BHP is it restricted ? Nice to see twin rear shocks, real retro cool !
+zednotzee7 Oh yeah you can really make it work. I don't think its BHP is restricted. Does look a bit retro no you think of it and I like the CB125F too.
Great video. What's your height? To compare dimensions. I'm thinking to buy this concrete model for daily urban use. Cheap and strong. In Spain today is in 2150 euro. The best quality/price relation in market. Excuse my english.
+MTP Desantos123 You ask a lot of questions, feel free to donate! My motorbike gear reviews are in the playlist on the channel home. I am planning on buying this bike for summer/spring rides to work, as traffic is a big problem. I am a car driver, and this would be my first bike. Do you think this is the best suited bike for such situation? oh, I need to wear a suit everyday!
+Luis Leite Yes it will serve you well. Very cheap to run, insure and very reliable. Don't expect to overtake many cars but do expect to get to work quicker and cheaper. You can wear textile trousers and a jacket over your suit, that's what I do.
This was useful review because today i baught a Honda CBF128 - 2011 here in Sweden. I paid 1 710 pound and the bike hade only run 354 miles . Can anyone in Uk look for prices there and tell if it´s cheper there, For me here it was a good deal. The first bike for my son .Thanks Pierre
what bike do you think will suit me? I'm going into the Army and am going to do my CBT and am going to need something with a name I can trust that is very reliable?
+MTP Desantos123 It really depends what you like the look of. Sporty or naked? Honda are very reliable. Yamaha are expensive but you get great parts and are reliable too. Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki offer very good choices in the 125cc category with the exception of Suzuki. KTM have a 125 but BMW do not. Look around see what takes your fancy. Hope that helps.
Yo I'm 16 currently and plan on getting my first bike after my CBT when I'm 17 for my work. I plan on getting a secondhand, 9600 miles, for £1600. Is this is a good deal for a new learner for commuting? If not, could I have more examples?
Yes that's a good deal. 9,600 miles is nothing and at that price you've saved over £1000 on a new one. 10,000 miles is nothing for a bike. Just keep the chain well lubed and an eye on the oil level and you'll be fine.
Have you still got this bike whats the mileage and have you had any probs,if so could you enlighten us, as i am about to buy anew 125 cc, and any info would be useful Cheers, Pete, from Newark. Notts.
Are we still happy with bike,i am about to buy my first 125 ,after doing the cbt,on sat,ime keen to ask about the gears when changing up and down ,or are they all a bit notchy feeling,as a new rider i seemd to be aware of this, many thanks for your video.
I do not own the bike, it's my friends and I believe he is still happy with it and uses it more than his average performance car. I think the notch feeling is fine, sometimes I mess up my gears or don't go into the right one on my 600RR, just practice mate. You're welcome, good luck with your road craft and thanks for watching.
+Peder August Knobel Halvorsen Yes. With adequate breaks I can see no reason why you could not ride this bike for hours. Lovely upright seating position with high handlebars.
HONDA cbr ...yes, everywhere. I've got a 2009 model that's never left Cornwall so I've had to replace various nuts and bolts and also a couple of small brackets inside the fairing because they quite literally turned to dust. The pedal brackets and footpegs needed an overhaul and the pedal pins needed renewing. Although the brake lever has survived well the gear lever was replaced for cosmetic reasons and rust had completely removed the factory paint from the frame surrounding the airbox and also the lower frame where the centre stand/swingarm mounts/engine mounts etc are located. Corrosion had also turned the lower fork yoke bar fluffy and the engine and throttle body dusty white. Apart from the rear swingarm and rear brake torque tube, which were too far gone to be saved everything else has responded well to two and a half months worth of tear down, sort out and rebuild. It now looks great. The dreaded exhaust rust never really appeared and the wheels just needed a clean up. If you live inland it would take 20+ years to get this bad. So yeah, they rust
Hi I'm from India.I have seen your video.I have bought cbf 125(carburetor).Can you resolve my issues where I am facing with cbf 125. 1. Facing vibrations when 45-50 kmph..Above 55 there was lot of vibrations in my bike. 2. How to improve pickup ?. When I'm riding in hills there is lacking in acceleration. Suggest some needful..
Hi. No I can't resolve your issues. The bike in this video is not mine, it was my friend's bike. He has sold it. Better to ask Honda about your issues.
Thanks.but if you have any idea about this bike mileage plz share..bcoz I am planning to buy 2nd hand Stunner coz it's discontinued in India since 2015
+MTP Desantos123 It was bought brand new. There is no need to strip the engine down. I will do a video on how to change the oil though as it is quite a tricky process.
No need for caps, chill. It is a ‘full size’ 125cc. They only make them in one size. He’s a big lad. He would look big on a Fireblade. Tall and short guys don’t come off well on bikes.
@@Sup3rSaiy3n lol, im only messin, but they do make full size 125cc moterbikes, the lexmoto lxr euro 5 i mentioned is one of them, look it up, i was going to buy one because of the biggeer size. 😁
